My husband, daughter, and 2 three yr.old grandchildren spent a week here and loved it. The great room is huge and a great place for kids to run around and expend some energy when not playing in the wonderful fenced-in yard. Many extra supplies were provided, i.e.: paper towels, dishwashing detergent, extra toilet paper, salt and pepper, trash bags, etc. There are plenty of towels and the laundry room is big enough for bunk beds. We were greeted by the owner's sister upon arrival and escorted through the house and asked if we were satisfied with the amenities. An hour after arrival the owner called to be sure we did not need anything.....very personal treatment. There's a supermarket 1 mile away and the beach is 3 miles. The home is very conveniently located near the interstate making it ideal for exploring other areas of Maine, which we did.
Children or no children, I highly recommend this as a vacation home.
