Lighthouse Hill Ranch is situated in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on 2,001 acres. With this much land it is your own private park to enjoy. The ranch consists of rolling hills, incredible 50 mile views, and has one of the highest point in Blanco County. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife on the ranch from cattle, bird watching, deer, turkey, coyotes, armadillos, jackrabbits, doves and variety of other animals.
Rental of any of our houses provides you access to the entire ranch (both tracts), which has numerous springs, over 4,000 feet of clear rock-bottom creek to swim and tube in (and including a unique creekside hot tub and waterfall grotto), 8 ponds to fish, a seasonal waterfall and miles of trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, hiking or riding your own horse.
We have 5 houses available to rent on the property and no two houses are within a 1/2 a mile of each other. 'The Grey House' is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch house with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, central air/heat and great fire pit to sit and enjoy the nighttime sky in the Hill Country. You only need to pack your overnight bag, we have thought of everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The house sleeps 8-10 people. The master bedroom has king bed and ensuite bathroom, there is 2 queen beds in one bedroom, 2 twins in the 3rd bedroom and the sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen size bed.
The kitchen is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.
The living area has leather furnishings where you can put your feet up and read a good book, watch DirectTV with movie channels, or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television. There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the house if you really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!
The front porch has beautiful views of the Hill Country and a fire pit with 'rocking' chairs that you can sit in an enjoy a great fire. There's plenty of wood out on the ranch - burn all you want! There is also a table and four chairs that you can use to have a meal outside. In addition, we also have a charcoal Weber grill for outdoor cooking (charcoal provided).
If you wish to bring your dog or your horse we have accommodations for them as well. Around the house is a fenced area that you can use to contain your dog, and near the Brown House on the property is a paddock with a water trough & feed trough. There is also a run-in and a tack area to keep your tack and feed dry.
In addition, we have four other homes on the ranch available for rental. We have a 3 bedroom/loft with 2 baths that sleeps 10-12 ('The Green House'), a 3 bedroom with 2 baths that sleeps 10-11 ('The Brown House'), our signature home a 4 bedroom/4 bath 4 story tower that sleeps 9-15 ('The Lighthouse') ), and a 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath that sleeps 6-10 (‘The Log Home’).

My wife and I purchased the ranch in 2004 for our enjoyment and for our 4 kids. It is absolutely the best purchase we've ever made. We love going to the ranch and swimming/tubing in the creek, fishing in the ponds, riding mountain bikes and ATVs on the trails, hiking the woods, and just generally enjoying a campfire with lots of stars on a clear night.
