Please note this is a timeshare property and it is ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF AUGUST.

Simple cottage perfect for beach lovers surrounded by the Madaket Land Trust overlooking Long Pond. This location offers nearby beaches, bike paths, birdwatching on the moors, fishing, crabbing or just relaxing on the deck. Take a picnic to Madaket Town beach for the sunset or stay home and watch the moon rise over Long Pond.

Travel to town on the shuttle which runs from early morning to late evening or ride bikes to Sconset when the quiet gets to be too much!

About The Owner

This was originally bought by Mom when my sisters and I were young. We have enjoyed our time here immensely over the years.

The Owner purchased this house in 1977
Why The Owner chose Madaket

Nantucket really is 'the faraway isle'. It offers such a unique environment, close by and quite removed from daily life at the same time.

Ferry reservations are required to bring a car to the island. Check with the Steamship Authority website for all information. Weekday car reservations are much easier and not as time critical to obtain. For this reason we are offering a reduced price for renting both weeks, ($4000) so car reservations are more flexible.

What makes this house unique

There is public beach access to the beach as well as access to several private beaches only a bike ride away. We also enjoy trips to the beach to see the sunset to end our relaxing days and then cruise back home to enjoy a nice dinner cooked on the grill.
