COZY COTTAGE AND BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN SANDY BEACH

We stayed at “Almost Heaven” for a long weekend over the Memorial Day holiday and the experience undoubtedly exceeded our expectations. Ron and Louise were very warm, welcoming, and helpful during our entire trip and made sure all of our needs were met! The house was very clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed for grilling and cooking. The lake was my favorite park of our stay. As indicated, the lake is forty steps away from the house, and the pictures certainly do not do it justice! The beach is immaculately clean and the water is clean and clear (unlike many of the lakes we find in Connecticut) - the mountains in the distance are absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the beach chairs provided in such a picturesque setting! Ron and Louise also provided us with Kayaks and canoes, so one night we took a canoe out onto the lake and watched the sunset and it was truly “Almost Heaven”.
We also did some sightseeing on our trip and ventured off to the “Castle in the Clouds”, Diana’s Bath, Cathedral Ledge, and North Conway, where there was much to do for both adults and small children. Since we have returned from our stay, we have raved to family and friends about our wonderful weekend and have already begun planning our return.
