A truly serene setting that is a wonderful and special retreat in Sonoma County Wine Country. From the moment you drive through the gate and onto 'Heaven in the Redwoods' your stress comes down a notch.

The many sounds of the country play in your ears, from the peacefulness of the breeze blowing through the treetops in the surrounding redwoods, the running water in Mill Creek (with wonderful swimming hole), and the many birds calling in the trees. As you look around the property you will not at first notice all the many separate and private areas the owner has created for you, from the Japanese Garden off the master bedroom, the meditation gazebo near the creek, several decks and sitting areas at the creek, a large brick BBQ area, hammocks, umbrellas, tables, and games.

This is not a property to come watch TV, as there is no satellite and only a VCR. It is a true 3-day feast for the senses to relax and let your feet feel the lush green lawn beneath them. The lawn covers the entire back of the property from the house to the creek -- it is so beautiful! And as a bonus, there is a hot tub and deck that overlooks another part of the creek, with redwoods towering above.

The inside of the house is like a true redwood cabin, with lots of woods and wonderful windows to take in the backyard/creek views. The home accommodates 8 adults and 3 children and is truly special.
