Like our other VRBO property (#224952) on Seal Rock Drive, our charming 2 bedroom home has been tastefully renovated by a leading professional interior designer. Our single family home is filled with light with direct access to a private sunny garden. The living room and bedrooms are spacious with refinished hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with an adjacent dining area . The garden facing bedrooms are fitted with 100% cotton 250+count linens and down duvets and pillows. Every detail ensures a home away from home for the discerning visitor not a 'rental' experience.
There is a flat screen TV with premium cable service, WIFI, and telephone for local calls.
The house is steps from the Fort Miley VA Hospital, and a short walk to the historic Cliff House, Seal Rocks, Ocean Beach & Lands End with panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
You can walk to the Legion of Honor Museum, Golden Gate Park ( NEW Academy of Science and de Young museum), run, walk or bike on miles of trails; play golf at nearby Lincoln Park Golf Course; visit the San Francisco Zoo; and witness stunning sunsets.
Public transportation is 2 blocks away. A direct bus - the #38L Geary - takes you to Union Square, Cable Cars and Downtown shopping.
We have just added this family property to VRBO after having great guests at our other home on the same street.
Very nice location. Airy and sunny
denise was helpful and tge process of renting was easy
My husband and I stayed here for 1 week and our son and girlfriend joined us for half of the time.Plenty of room for everyone. The home was very clean and the photos and description accurate. We had a wonderful vacation, especially enjoyed all the walking trails so nearby. We would recommend this home and we hope to come back here in the future. Thank you Denise for all the restaurant recommendations we ate at 3 of them, all fabulous meals. :) Kathy & Al
Our visit to San Francisco was the last leg of our West Coast vacation. The property was well equipped, comfortable and located in a quiet area. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had a large fridge, dishwasher and cooker. The washer and dryer in the garage also proved very useful. The owner was available to answer any questions throughout our stay. An information pack provided good recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores etc. Travel time to downtown by car was about 30 minutes and 45 minutes by bus. Parking downtown can be expensive but the owner recommended Sutter Stockton garage. This was $23 for the day and was well located for the main attractions. The property is located in a good residential area but is susceptible to the Bay's notorious fog, which can significantly reduce the temperature as well as the visibility! The property is within easy walking distance of beautiful Lands End walks and the Legion of Honor. The property has a large garage, which easily accommodated our large rental SUV. This is a property that I would recommend.
Our son is a computer geek who lives in San Francisco. We try to visit him a couple of times a year, and have done so the past few years. We have stayed at an apartment on the same street (owned by the same owner) and have loved it, but this spot is even better! It is wonderful, bright, with lots of windows. It is well appointed, and had all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc, that one would need to prepare meals. It is a short walk from the coast, the Cliff House, the beach, and the Coastal Trail that curves around to the east, providing a wonderful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is an easy shot down Geary to the middle of town, and the garage to park in is a luxury. We will definitely be staying here again.

This house is so beautifully decorated and comfortable that I relax immediately when I stay here.
The kitchen is perfect for cooking or dining with a group or alone the view from the windows that surround
the table allow you to watch without being watched. The living room feels very spacious and gives a home away from home feeling while in San Francisco. The walking and hiking trails near the house are great for the visitor seeking some exercise while enjoying the Pacific view.
We really enjoyed our stay in this very clean, quiet house. The location can't be beat as it's not much more than a stone's throw from the beach. We rented bikes in Golden Gate Park and enjoyed a great morning walk from the Cliff House down to the Legion of Honor museum - spectacular view of Golden Gate Bridge along the way. We would definitely stay again!
