Now is the time for the beautiful fall foliage at The Ranch. Shortly the aspens will be in full color and the scent of fall will be in the air. The Ranch is quiet after the summer season and it is time to relax in the mountains with friends. Our beautiful home is located on the 16th and 17th fairways of the Glaze Meadow Golf Course. The 16th, 17th, and 18th are in view from our 1500 sf deck. Sip a Margarita and watch the golfers go by or the deer feeding in the yard. On those cool evenings we have deck heaters to make your outdoors enjoyment last into the late night hours.
Our well furnished home has 1800 sf on the main floor, without walls, and 14ft windows facing the golf course. Virtually all rooms have vaulted ceilings, some 28 feet high. The views are magnificent from anywhere inside or outside the house. You can have many conversations taking place in the 32 x 20 ft living room. There is a sunken bar, with frig and sink, where you can make those Margaritas.
With a total of 6 levels connected by a monumental stairway it is not hard to find a quite spot to sit back and relax. The main floor has living room, bar, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The lower level has a queen bedroom, a 4 bunk bedroom, and a bath. The upper level has 2 queen bedrooms and a bath. The first loft looks down on the 16th green 80 ft away, the second is for reading in the tree tops.
Thank you for visiting our site. Our home sits on 1 acre and is tucked in the apex of the Glaze Meadow 16th and 17th fairways. Quiet and secluded, it is located at the south end of the Ranch and at the very end of a cul-de-sac.
With a completely open floor plan, very large deck and a close proximity to the Glaze Meadow Rec Center it has everything you are looking for.

My wife and I live in Portland and are both retired, I from Raytheon's Hughes's Santa Barbara Reseach Center and she from a small private business in Portland. We built the home in 1984 and have never tired of the magnificient times it has afforded our family and friends.
After having visited the Ranch when our children were young we felt in 1979 that the Ranch was the perfect place for our family to get away and relax together. The Ranch has maintained it's character all these years and we feel that you will also experience that same feeling while taking that well deserved time away from the outside world.
If you want and crave exercise the Ranch can more than fill your needs. There are 32 miles of paved waling and bike trails on the Ranch . And if you are prone to an early morning walk the lakes below the house are a short distance away through the aspens and you can stop off at the Glaze Meadow rec center or GM club house for a nice latte. Tennis is a 5 min. walk from the house and the GM club house is a very short drive.
On Ranch - 23 Tennis courts, 2-18 hole golf courses with driving ranges and practice greens, 2 restaurants, 3 indoor/outdoor cafes, 2 indoor/outdoor lounges, canoeing, horseback riding for kids and adults, volley ball, soccer, baseball, horseshoes, Frisbee golf, and recreation barn with scheduled kids activities..
Off Ranch - 25 golf courses in area, whitewater rafting, skiing 1 hr away at Mt. Bachelor, world class rock climbing at Smith Rocks State Park, high desert hiking and mountain climbing, Wizard Falls fish hatchery, rustic Camp Sherman 8 miles away, western town of Sisters 12 miles from house, and Bend 35 miles from Ranch.
