Near Grand Tetons & Yellowstone Park, WIFI, Satellite & HDTV, Sleeps 8

This is a wonderful, clean, well-laid out home in beautiful country. The owners provided everything we could need and were pleasant to work with. We especially liked the back yard & porch, not to mention the great trail bordering the property. It's conveniently located between the Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks (the Targhee National Forest, Mesa Falls Loop, is also very close). We enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of the area.

We stayed at the home for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The description and photos are accurate but do not do justice to the beauty of the area and the home itself. When we arrived ( which was painless because of the detailed instructions Deanna gave us) we found the home very clean and much better than expected in terms of amenities. The location is great and gives you a great deal of privacy especially in the backyard. Our kids loved the games in the garage, the bunk beds, the board games , the backyard ... The kitchen was well stocked and had every appliance needed. The master bedroom, closet and the bathroom are spacious and excellent. The quality of linens is also impressive. As for the surrounding area it is really beautiful and serene. The town of Tetonia is close by but there is not a lot there. You have to go to Driggs ( a short drive ) to get to restaurants and groceries. The Broulim's supermarket is surprisingly big and has everything you might need. The Mexican restaurant (Hacienda Cuajimalpa) for me was the best, really authentic Mexican food. We also liked the Bankok Kitchen and the Pendl's bakery. We drove out to Jackson and Yellowstone during out week here. Jackson is not too bad of a drive but West Yellowstone seems longer than expected. But the drive is enjoyable and once we were in Yellowstone it was worth it. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a excellent place to stay in the Teton Valley.

Bring your own clothes -- but that's all you'll need to make your stay complete at this wonderful vacation home in Tetonia, ID! Well, and a camera!! Because you will have views of the Tetons from the front porch! We stayed for a week and have to say that this was the most comfortable & well-thought out/well-stocked vacation home we've ever stayed in! It made the perfect home base for our day trips to Yellowstone, the Tetons and Jackson, Wyoming (just across the mountain pass). We loved the Idaho side of of the mountains! Driggs, ID is 8 miles away and has a great little grocery store and some yummy restaurants to check out. The house has lots of space, a super kitchen, comfy beds and the shower is great after a long day of hiking! Deanna and Kevin have thought of every detail to truly make this a "home away from home" for your vacation. We highly recommend it! We can't wait to return!!
