All I expect in an average stay is for the property to be clean, well maintained and honestly described; hence the below average rating.
1-Property is right next to Mangos and the Clevelander, and is in the fat tuesdays building (one of the noisiest and most popular clubs on south beach)--which meant it was extremely loud and a far cry from the "oasis" described.
2-Then we had water leaking in from the bathroom ceiling. We contacted the owner and never heard back. We ended up having to prop up a trashcan (which filled up with dirty water) under the leak for the last few days of our stay!
3-When it came to check out, we were left stranded with no information on the process, even after multiple attempts to get in touch with the owner or the management who had checked us in.
In addition, there was a broken coffee maker, no hair dryer and no extra paper towels/toilet paper etc...
These things might seem small but added to our overall disappointment.
Overall, my husband and I have visited the miami/south beach area many times in the last 10 years and have stayed at many different hotels and condos. This place would have gotten an average for the decor, but we're giving it a poor rating for management communication and a misleading property description.
