Situated on the beautiful eastern shore of Lake Leelanau, this wonderful resort offers 11 fully furnished 'up North' cottage cabins on 3.5 acres of secluded property with over 400 feet of waterfront. It's a perfect get-a-way for that dream fishing trip, honeymoon escape or family summer vacation. Our Cabin #7 offers 750 sq ft of relaxing space, inc. 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 1 full size) , full bath, complete kitchen, dining area and knotty pine living room, HDTV, gas log fireplace, perfect for those chilly and romantic evenings. Private patio with barbeque grill, picnic table and seating, private beach, boat slips and playground for the kids. Breathtaking sunset views. Cook a smore or take a casual boat ride around the lake at sunset and return to your own private dock just steps away from your cabin. A fisherman's paradise, including, Northern & Walleye Pike, Bass, Perch even Brown Trout. Then prepare those filets at the fish cleaning shed. Get ready for a spectacular vacation.

Parking Available for 2 cars & trailer: Park your cars in the private spaces next to your cabin. Boat and camper trailers can be parked across from the cabins during your stay.

On beautiful South Lake Leelanau, West Wind Resort is located 12 miles north of Traverse CIty off of S. Lake Leelanau Dr. also known as Highway 641. The property is approximately 1 miles north of Bingham Road, also known as Highway 618 and is one mile north of the public boat launch. West Wind Resort is within 15 miles of Traverse City to the South, Suttons Bay to the East and Leland to the North. Other areas within Leelanau County include Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan, hiking, kayaking, biking, shopping, restaurants, vineyards, cherry orhards and so much more.

Rental Rates for this vacation cottage rental in Lake Leelanau, Michigan

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $1,369 summer weekly rate
  • Spring and Fall Rates and Availability - rent by the week or daily (Weekly = $1,100; Weekend = $450; week day rates = $200; $100 refundable cleaning/late departure deposit; non-refundable $69 property rental insurance premium

    Summer Rates - weekly rentals only ($1,369); $200 deposit required to reserve (inc. as part of rate); $100 refundable cleaning/late departure deposit

    1/2 of your remaining balance is due within 30 days of signing rental agreement
    Final payment is due within 60 days of stay.

    If reservation is cancelled prior to 90 days before intended stay, your balance less $200 initial deposit fee will be refunded. Prior to 45 days of your intended stay, your balance less $200 deposit, will be refunded if we are able to fill the vacancy.

    No refunds will be permitted for cancellations within 30 days of scheduled rental.
  • Generally payment is accepted in form of personal or bank check.

    Please feel free to contact us with any questions or special requests. If you are interested in multiple units for family gatherings, we can work to coordinate that with you and the other renters. Typically we are very flexible in the off season rentals, however, don't hesitate to call during peak season to check our availablity.
