$110 rate for 3-4 guests or $660 per week..This cozy cabin was recently built by the owners welcoming its first guests in 2012. Nestled on a one acre wooded lot in a quiet neighborhood, it is private but not 'scary' secluded. The rocking chairs on the covered front porch summon you to relax and enjoy beautiful Hightower Creek with pastoral and mountain views beyond. The paved driveway and parking area work well for motorcycles.
Inside you will find a spacious and charming interior with wood floors, knotty pine walls, a 16' high cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace. Enjoy the flat screen TV while relaxing in one of the comfortable, reclining seats. The living area is open to the clean, modern and fully equipped kitchen.
The Master Bedroom on the main floor contains a King Bed, large dresser with mirrors, ceiling fan, closet, and private entrance to the bathroom. Also on the main floor is a seperate laundry room and a smaller covered back porch with a gas BBQ grill.
The upstairs loft bedroom contains 2 twin beds and it overlooks the living area. Also included is a full bath, closet, and ceiling fan.
The cabin is conveniently located about 10 minutes from downtown Hiawassee midway between Lake Chatuge and Lake Burton. Guests are welcome to visit our llama farm nearby or hike on the Appalachian Trail just 1 mile up the road. Also in nearby Young Harris, Crane Creek Vineyards offers great tours and the best wine in the local area.
Upon your arrival, one of us will personally meet with you, turn over the keys, and briefly familiarize you with all of the amenities that the cabin has to offer. Come and be among our first guests.
Your cabin is waiting.

About The Owner
Don and Jeanne moved to Hiawassee in 1997 from the State of Washington where they raised llamas. Moving their herd with them they have continued with their farm which is located near the cabin. Don and Jeanne manage and maintain this cabin themselves and are conveniently close by to provide any help or advice. The comfort and satisfaction of their guests is their number one priority.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2011
Why The Owner chose Hiawassee
We purchased this lot because of its close proximity to our farm, the nice wooded area, and the beautiful views. Most of all, however, is Hightower Creek bordering one side, running so cold and clear. It reminded us of the beautiful streams that we left in the Pacific Northwest.
What makes this cabin unique
In addition to being so centrally located among the wonderful small communities with an endless stream of local events, our guests are welcome to visit our farm and hang out with our llamas and alpacas. Other than cabin guests, our farm is not open to the public.
