Privately tucked in the mountaintops of North Georgia, Cohutta View seamlessly blends a rustic setting with luxurious accommodations to create the perfect getaway.

Upon entering the front door you will be enchanted with the lovely wood work, soaring ceilings and stacked stone gas fireplace. On the main level you will find a newly appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and fully equipped with everything you will need to whip up a delicious meal. Adjoining the kitchen is a spacious dining area and family room with all the comforts of home including a flat screen television equipped with Apple TV. Make your way to the french doors flanking either side of the fireplace to enter onto the screened porch with outdoor wood burning fireplace, hot tub, guest seating and dining area and take a look at the breathtaking year round views of the Cohutta Mountains.

This home has sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people 6 in private bedrooms, 2 in the loft futon and 2 in the lower level sleeper sofa, a perfect set up for families vacationing together or a good-sized group. On either side of the great room you will find two master suites with brand new furnishings including king beds and flat screen televisions. Both bedrooms enjoy the splendor of private baths with double vanities and stone-fronted tubs. This layout provides additional privacy with outdoor access from each bedroom. Head upstairs to an open loft area overlooking the dramatic family room. This level is complete with a cozy nook for reading and a log-sided futon for an additional guest.

The completed lower level is where the fun begins! You can enjoy a game of pool or shuffleboard, play the Wii, watch a movie or relax at the bar. Not to be outdone, head out to the deck where you can enjoy the picturesque views of the grand vista. On this level is an oversized bedroom complete with a queen size bed and log furnishings. This room provides private access to the lower deck. Here you will also find a full bath, as well as a sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Conveniently located 10 miles from Blue Ridge you'll be inspired to plan the many activities that surround you. Have lunch at the Mercier Orchard Farm & Bakery or take a tractor ride and pick your own apples! The Ocoee Whitewater Center, home of the 1996 Summer Olympics, offers a wide array of whitewater sports. Try your luck trout fishing, ride the rapids on the Toccoa River or go boating on Lake Blue Ridge. A quick, 10 minute drive will get you to major hiking trailheads in the Cohutta Wilderness including Dally Gap, Jacks River, Benton Mackaye and Hemptop. This cabin is just Awesome!! I cannot think of a better word to describe it. Pics do not do justice, the view is amazing. very quiet area, we got to relax and unwind. also close to all the trails, falls, and shopping. Cabin has everything you would ever need! I truly wish i owned it! only complaint, the railing on one side of the deck was rotting,and only half the jets worked on the hot tub, but that didnt stop us from enjoying it! ..am sure both these will be fixed. otherwise it was perfect

Wonderful Stay

This Chalet is even nicer than the pictures indicate. We had a family get together with my son and daughter, so we came from 3 different states! Our stay was really really nice and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch, the hot tub, utilizing the beautiful kitchen and site seeing. We also went on the Ocoee White Water Rafting and the Ocoee Zip Line and in addition, horseback riding at Adventure Trail Rides. We got pretty good at navigating the road to the cabin and around the entire area.

I wish the gas fireplace would have been operational and we really would have enjoyed an outdoor grill. The kitchen is to die for with all the pans and dishes and cooking equipment you could ask for. Lots of room and a really gorgeous chalet/cabin. Very tastefully decorated and everything was comfortable and clean.

Hopefully we will be able to schedule another stay in the future. None of us wanted to leave after a week of leisure! We all loved the area, the town, and the people were all friendly too.

Wonderful Time

We went to Blue Ridge for a family weekend together. Age range 13 - 85. The Cabin was absolutely spectacular. It was better than the pictures. The views were just beautiful. The kitchen had everthing a gourmet cook could ever ask for. The beds were so comfortable and the furniture was just perfect for a cabin. We really enjoyed ourselves and have decided to make this a yearly trip. The only thing we missed was a grill to grill out. We will be back next year.

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view of the mountains and listening to the birds. We even saw a small black bear on one of our evening walks. We've stayed in the Blue Ridge area several times and this is one of the nicest cabins we've rented. The only thing that would have improved our stay was an outdoor grill. My husband missed cooking out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.

This Cabin is Great

We had everything we needed for our much needed girls trip. The cabin was beautiful and much care had been taken in decorating and providing all the essentials that you would need. The view from the cabin is spectacular and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch. We are looking forward to our next trip as we could not pull ourselves away from the comfort of the cabin to explore this lovely region.
