Kitchen extras include granite countertops, a deep-basin sink, undercabinet lighting, a smooth cooktop oven, a convection oven/microwave combo, and a side-by-side fridge with an ice and water dispenser. Beautiful hardwood floors and recessed lighting on the main living room and kitchen level set this townhouse apart. The fully equipped kitchen should meet all your cooking and entertainment needs. We were a party of 6, Grandma, Grandpa, my daughter, her husband and our two granddaughter’s, ages 9 and 13. We chose this property because of it amenities, central location, and facilities. We were not disappointed with any of them. Everything is as described by the owners and more. The owners were very responsive to all of our inquiries and contacted us at arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone.
Traffic in the area can get quite congested during prime time so it was nice that we could walk to almost everything.
We ate the majority of our meals on the screened in balcony. The BBQ was used almost daily. After a day at the beach and roaming the boardwalk we swam in the pool every day.
If you are looking for calmer waters and great beach try Lewes Beach about 10 minute drive from the condo.
Most restaurants /bars offer happy hour specials daily. Our favorite was FINS just a short walk from the condo. I left a menu in the information binder. The oysters were a favorite with my son-in-law and I and my granddaughter could not get enough of the steamed clams.
We took a short trolley ride on the Monday night to Bethany Beach where they offer a free movie night on the beach. Big screen and stereo sound.
It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.
There was one negative aspect to our visit, the highly recommended bakery at the entrance to the complex was closed for renovations. They reopened the day we left.
This townhouse was perfect for our party of 6. It was so spacious that it could have easily accommodated another family as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and everyday essentials such as saran wrap and foil and spices. Everything was very clean and in good condition. We would come back to the house for a few hours during the hottest part of the day and it was very pleasant. The kids would do some reading, playing and watch tv and I would happily putz around doing laundry or preparing dinner.
It is about a mile from the beach which was no problem because we hit the beach around 9 am and parking is plentiful at that time. Remember to bring a few rolls of quarters. We used the beach chairs and sand buckets and shovels in the garage so no need to pack those.
We enjoyed the walk into town for dinner/shopping/ice cream. Twice we hit Funland on the boardwalk after dinner. The kids really loved the rides and games.
The pool is very nice and clean and was never crowded. The kids had a blast swimming there every day.
I would definitely recommend this townhouse! We hope to return next summer!
Location: We were looking for a place near the main strip and close enough to town to be able to walk to restaurants and shopping. This location works for that but is not quite close enough to the beach (depending on how much stuff you want to take!). We did find very close beach parking, so that wasn't an issue. Townhouse: Very clean and spacious accommodations! We loved that there was a master suite on the very first floor - this served my grandmother very well when she wanted her own "space" and some privacy. The kitchen opens up in to the main living room and the enclosed deck was additional space that we enjoyed. It got a little loud on Friday night - when the complex started to fill up. We simply shut the door and there were no issues. Amenities: Lots of everything you'd have in your own home (especially the kitchen). Great movie selection - lots for kids to watch too. We loved the "big bear" in the loft. Kid Friendliness: We had 2 babies with us (both under 12 mos). The coffee table in the living room has sharp edges, we were able to mitigate this by using masking tape and paper towels to pad the corners. You'll need to bring your own baby gates and cribs/pack n plays. The sink served as a GREAT bathtub for our little Vivian! Additional notes: Super great communication from the homeowner which included a follow-up call after we'd arrived to ensure everything was OK. Check out the little bakery right outside of the complex (closed on Wednesdays), they have great pastries! Crystal's was good too! Overall we were really happy and would rent here again.
We recently rented this lovely home for our first 2 week vacation as a family (we have 2 little ones) and we had the best vacation ever staying here. First, this home is very clean and neat. Secondly, it is decorated so beautifully that you don't feel you are staying in an empty unit, but truly enjoying the comforts of a home. Between the cozy couches, cushions, and the extensive DVD collection (huge bonus!) you could spend the day lounging inside and have a wonderful time. But what is also so nice is the approximity to town. We biked to town every day - easily - and noticed our location was the perfect blend of "close enough to easily get to town, yet far enough to feel you are enjoying a quiet get-away". The listing description was thorough and accurately managed our expectations as to what we would could expect staying there. We will absolutely look to be back again, soon! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation that we will treasure always.
We are returning visitors to this beautifully appointed beach property.
As stated in my review from 2011 (dated 8/14/11), we couldn't have been any happier with the reservation experience and accommodations. The property owner Anna, is an absolute pleasure to work with and she makes you feel as if you are family, not just another renter. For example, a few hours after arrival, I received a phone call from Anna in which she welcomed us to her home. Anna wanted to make sure that we arrived safely and that we were pleased with the first impression. In my opinion, her genuine approach and attention to detail is what really sets this home apart from the rest and is what gives you that peace of mind, the human touch.
The home still looks and feels brand new, it is modern, clean and well looked after. It is certainly not your typical dated, dingy beach home, it feels as if your are visiting a model home in a brand new community. Anna has great taste. The furnishings, decorations and amenities are all top shelf. The home was recently upgraded with an additional Queen bed on the fourth floor loft, which is not pictured on the posting. This was an excellent addition to an already great layout. My only recommendation is that a set of bunk beds are added (to the guest room on the second floor), I feel that this would improve the sleeping quarters for kids and expand the homes market offering. However, the current layout and bedding is very accommodating and without a doubt, kid/family friendly. The neighborhood is quite, clean, welcoming and very close to the beach. During our stay, family and friends visited us. As expected, they were very impressed with the home/location and kept reminding me as to what a good choice I made.I think that Anna just netted new clients.
We certainly took advantage of the awesome amenities. Using the Wireless Internet, I was able to get some work done via my corporate VPN connection. Also, we were able to easily connect all of our wireless devices giving us instant access. The home comes with a Welcome binder that explains every detail, so using all the amenities was a breeze.
When it comes to staying at Rehoboth Beach, look nowhere else. We HIGHLY recommend this home to those that are truly looking for a "home away from home" and for those who prefer to deal with a property owner that welcomes you like a family member.
For a carefree vacation, contact Anna, book your stay, enjoy this beautiful home and relax.
My family recently spent a week at this home and had a wonderful time. The house is much bigger than the pictures make it seem. It is very nicely decorated, without the standard beach house teal and mauve assaulting the eyes.
The beds are quite comfortable and the rooms very spacious. The screened in porch on the 2nd floor is a very nice place for dinner or to read a book. My children loved the loft that had many Disney and other kiddy DVD's as well as other movies.
The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear and there was ample information about the house and the neighborhood provided in a binder created by the owners.
Our visit coincided with the arrival of Hurricane Irene and we were very worried about the condition of the house when we arrived less than 24 hours after the hurricane passed. Even after a major storm, the property was clean and the house was spotless. The owners are very easy to work with and provide as much information as needed. They provided cell phone and emails and quickly responded to our questions.
We didn't go to the community pool on the property since the beach was so close. But it looked very nice. It was a little far to walk to the beach with our young children, but we found it very easy to park by the beach. (Don't forget to get a permit from the city!)
The Tanger Outlets are only a mile down the road and Jungle Jim's (less than .5 miles) was a great place for mini-golf, go carts and water slides. We didn't go out to eat that much, but there were many, many restaurants very close to the property that we would love try when we can leave the kids at home.
We loved this house and will recommend it to our friends and family. We can't wait until we can return to Rehoboth and wouldn't think twice about returning to this property. Thank you!
