Nestled in the hills above Lake Chelan in the heart of the orchards and wine country, our vacation home has sweeping views of Lake Chelan, the mountains, Roses Lake and many wineries. It features 3+ bedrooms and 3 baths and it is a perfect place for a family reunion or a two family rental. There is plenty of room to park your boat or RV!

Eat breakfast or dinner while enjoying the view on your 1000 square foot deck which stretches the entire length of the back of the house. Enjoy 4.12 acres tucked in between vineyards and orchards. There is a large grassy play area for all sorts of family fun. It is a short walk down the road to Hard Row to Hoe winery, a 'Best of Washington' 2010 nominee. Take the 15 mile scenic loop tour (car or bike) of the wineries and then head back to relax in one of your two hot tubs. It is just minutes from the Manson Bay Beach & Marina, the only beach on the entire lake with a lifeguard on duty.

House Description: The main level has a gourmet chef’s kitchen with granite counter tops and a Viking range; the breakfast bar makes it a perfect space for entertaining and gathering at the end of the day. Your dining room table will seat all of your guests. The living, dining and kitchen all open up onto the fabulous deck. There are 2 bedrooms and a beautiful updated bathroom with glass block. The wood ceilings and a wood burning fireplace make for a cozy place to hang out in the winter time.

The lower level features another 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and a fireplace. Each of the bedrooms has its own sitting area and is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. This space is great for multiple family rentals.

Whether you are here for the summer or winter the possibilities for fun are endless. In the summer after spending a day on the lake water skiing, fishing, parasailing etc. come back to relax with a game of volleyball, croquet, horse shoes, badminton, or slip & slide.

Area Description: Want to get in a little gambling or go to a concert? It is less than a mile to Mills Bay Casino. You can check out the summer concert series on their website. You can stroll through the Manson Farmer's Market on Wednesday or Saturday to sample the local produce. If you have a boat, you can either launch or rent a slip at the Manson Bay Marina for your stay. There are also boat rentals available for the week day or hour.

In the winter, you have the perfect sledding/tubing hill. You never have to leave the house for all sorts of winter fun. You are just a short drive to two different ski resorts or Roses Lake is known for its winter ice fishing! There are snow mobile rentals, Oktoberfest at Leavenworth Bavarian Village, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and much much more.

The property was as advertised. The area is very quiet, there are very few cars that pass the property. In the evening the only sounds are the breeze and the wildlife as they settle in at dusk. The view is spectacular. The house is 5 minutes from downtown Manson, about 15 minutes from Chelan which makes it perfect for securing services quickly while really feeling like you are away from it all. This would be a great place for a quiet couple's get away or a family retreat. I certainly recommend it.

Great place for a girls weekend

I've stayed here two years in a row with my book club and look forward to coming back! The house is beautiful, and everyone sleeps comfortably. The kitchen is perfect for cooking in, and there are also great places to eat nearby. We love going wine tasting, and it is so easy to get to the wineries from the house. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay in this lovely home! Great location, close to many of the wineries, with a beautiful view of Rose Lake and Lake Chelan as well as vineyards, orchards and the mountains. The Ivan Morse home has been beautifully remodeled, is clean, spacious and well furnished with anything you may need. Wrap around deck made for a peaceful retreat and the gigantic yard was perfect for dogs or kids to play. Owners were flexible and easy to work with and helped make our stay go smoothly. Overall, the experience made for a fantastic weekend.

This is a truly wonderful get away! Whether you ride bikes, boat, visit wineries, fish or hike this is a perfect place to come home to. Very quick to town - either Manson or Chelan - but you feel like you're miles away from anyone in the country. Just wonderful. Our dog romped across the sprawling lawn and you could just see the joy on his face! The kitchen is lovely and is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. It's very nicely furnished, the shower is wonderful - it is a great retreat. When you walk in the door and are greeted by the most magnificent view of mountains, lakes, orchards and vineyards you'll be very glad you chose the Ivan Morse house. We were. And we'll be back!
