There are three bedrooms upstairs including a large master bedroom with private bath, DirectTV, and deck. The main floor has a full kitchen, dining room, living room w/ wood-burning fireplace, and TV room/extra bedroom. It also has a heated porch off the kitchen and a screen porch off the living room each with a bed. There is a patio and a two-car garage for guests to use.
The Annandale area is teeming with activities and points of interest. There are three golf courses, Southbrook (18 holes), Whispering Pines (18 holes), and the Albion Ridges “links” course (27 holes), all within a 5-15 minute drive. The Powder Ridge ski area and Millner Heritage winery are also only a short 15 minute drive from town. The numerous lakes in the area provide opportunities for all types of water activities. Clearwater and Sylvia are among the best fishing lakes in central Minnesota. Annandale is also known for its huge 4th of July celebration and its annual Triathlon. And the Wright County Swapper’s Meet, one of the largest “flea markets” in the state, is located just outside of town and operates every Saturday from April through October. Snowmobile enthusiasts are only minutes away from access to Minnesota's extensive trail system.
You can stay in a small town, away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, yet you are close enough to sample all a big city has to offer. It is only 30 minutes to the city of St. Cloud, home of St. Cloud State University. And the Twin Cities Metro area is only a one hour drive away. The attractions there include Valley Fair, the Minnesota Zoo, Guthrie Theatre, Walker Art Center, Science Museum of MN, Renaissance Festival, professional sports (Twins, Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves, Lynx), and many others. Shoppers can visit the Mall of America, the Albertville Outlet Mall, and Cabella’s as well as many other shops and malls. And for those who prefer not to drive into the metro area, the commuter train station in Big Lake is only 25 minutes away.
Annandale is a wonderful place to vacation in any season and for a little more than the cost of a hotel room, you can stay in a 2,500sq. ft. house on a large 100 foot corner wooded lot and experience all the area has to offer with all the comforts of home.
