BEAUTIFUL LAKE MICHIGAN BEACH

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is a very nice, new house, The walk to the beach was very nice, we had a 6 month old, 2 year old and a 5 year old, so it made for a pleaseant walk with them. The beach are was very nice also. The house doesn't have central air and when the weather was cooler at the beginning of the week it was so nice with the open windows and fresh air. The last two days of our stay got hot and in the evening we were wishing for some cooler air chasing those babies around and cooking heated us up. There was no cell service unless you drive out 2 minutes to the end of the road and no landline phone. We were concerned about that having small children in case of emergency you would have to drive out to get a call through.
Over all this was a great stay and the house had everything we needed. beach towels and chairs a plenty for which we were thankful :) The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and was very courteous. Very nice people to work with.

We typically vacation on the western mi beaches once each summer and this was the furthest north we've ventured. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage.

It was great for our two families with young kids(all 6 and under), as we took advantage of the extra bedroom and beds in the basement. The earlier part of the week was cooler and warmed up as the week progressed. Our typical routine was to laze around in the morning, hit the beach after lunch, and finish out the evening with a fire outside under the stars. We also visited the petting farm and dairy farm near the highway, which the kids enjoyed.

The various other spaces in the house(front deck, back patio, sunroom) allowed us to spread out as needed. When the lake water was cooler, we drove a few minutes to Benona park and let the kids wade in the warm stream. Already looking forward to next year.
