Awesome Large Bayfront Home 6BR/5BA (4 Suites) w/ Large Dock, Indoor Saltwater Pool, 1 Blk from the Beach
If you want to spend your family vacation or friend’s reunion in a magnificent vacation home that includes four suites, then you have found your home away from home. From our big furnished dock, watch dolphins, manatees, and exotic birds or fish for your dinner. The area is famous for its fishing and is known as the “Tarpon Fishing Capital of the World.”
Take a short walk down the street and crossover to the white, sugar-sand beach that looks out into the Gulf of Mexico. Forget the crowded blanket to blanket of the East coast & Northeast coast beaches. While walking the 7 miles of beach, you will find more varieties of seashells then anywhere in North America. It is “the” perfect beach for you sunbathers, avid runners, bikers, & those who just love to wade or walk.
Or, make a right and head to “Times Square,” abundant with unique shops and restaurants for more fun. If you prefer to ride, take the Beach Trolley. The Fort Myers Beach Trolley can carry bicycles and a large number of beach combers.
What makes our home unique are the 4 bedroom suites containing 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The “Loft Suite” has 2 bedrooms w/ sitting area. The sitting area has a “wow” view looking over the indoor saltwater pool out to the dock & Matanzas Bay! The “Master’s Suite” has a huge sitting area, dressing room, large bathroom and door out to the “Secret Garden,” (a secluded furnished patio area for quiet privacy). It has a door wall leading to the lanai and looks out to Matanzas Bay. The “Canal Suite” has 2 bedrooms w/sitting area & TV. (The Canal is the winter home for a couple of families of manatees and their babies) Lastly, the “Bay View Suite” bedroom room has a full bath and a door wall leading out to the lanai that looks out onto Matanzas Bay. Also, our home has more than the usual appliances, including 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer.
While the parents relax on the dock or lanai eating local fresh shrimp, the kids can play in the “Game Room,” with the ping pong table, pool table or dart board. If it rains, no worry, it is all inside: the salt water (odorless) pool and hot tub (close to the “wet bar”), along with the Game Room, and 2 huge HD big screen TVs, there is plenty to do inside our home.
With a dock and wave runner lift, you can rent a boat or rent a wave runner for a day(s). Bring your own boat, 240v shore power. You can go to the local water park, go parasailing, play golf on or off the beach, play tennis, basketball, and swim in the ocean – all within a few minutes of our home.
Shopping is very convenient from our home. Less than a mile north is Publix for grocery shopping. In the same direction, another mile or so is a shopping plaza, Santini Plaza, containing a card store with a post office, hardware store, an ice cream shop, and a variety of other shops. Next to the shopping plaza is a CVS Pharmacy.
Travel North for about 20 minutes and you can drive to Sanibel Island, known for its beautiful beaches, lighthouse and shelling. Go south 10 minutes to the Travel Channel’s “America’s 10 Best Beaches,” Lover’s Key State Park. Also available are excursions to Everglades National Park and Key West, including air-boat and swamp buggy rides. If you enjoy gambling, there is a Casino Ship that goes out several times a day. “The Beach” has many restaurants just down the street from our home. (Our favorite dishes are the Crab Cakes, Crunchy Grouper, and Coconut Shrimp.)
If you want to travel a bit farther, it is 3 hours to Disney/Universal/& Sea World. In 2 hours, you are in Tampa featuring Busch Gardens. On the East Coast, you can visit Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or South Beach. In 1 hour, Punta Gorda has a fun place to visit called “the Fishing Village” with shops and great seafood restaurants.
