The Cookery’s Hanson Suite is located next door to The Cookery in downtown Fish Creek. Wake up to a spectacular view of the harbor from this spacious second level suite. Featuring a large deck with a view of the water and downtown Fish Creek, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The Hanson Suite has two large bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two double beds. This unit also has two full bathrooms. This suite is a housekeeping unit offering fully equipped kitchens, living/dining areas, gas grills, cable television, as well as heat and air conditioning. We provide all linens, but ask that you bring your own towels.

Shops, restaurants, the Fish Creek beach, and Peninsula State Park are all within walking distance. Centrally located in the northern part of Door County, Fish Creek is the perfect place to be located for your Door County getaway.

The Cookery’s accommodations are available to rent May through October. Weekly rentals are preferred for the Hanson Suite in July and August, Saturday to Saturday. A two night minimum is requested in May, June, September, and October.

About The Owner

We are the Skare family - Dick, Carol, Courtney and Karin. Dick and Carol started The Cookery Restaurant in 1977. Courtney and Karin also work in their family run business. The Skare family loves to travel and also loves great food!

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1985
Why The Owner chose Fish Creek

Dick and Carol have two vacation rentals on The Cookery's property - one suite and one cottage. They purchased this property in 1985 because of its great location and fabulous view.

What makes this apartment unique

The Hanson Suite is the perfect location for a Door County getaway. The suite is wiithin walking distance to all of the great things that Fish Creek has to offer - restaurants, shops, Peninsula State Park, the Fish Creek beach.

Renters also enjoy a great location right next to The Cookery Restaurant and Wine Bar - great for any meal of the day or a glass of wine during the wine bar's happy hour.
