We love staying in Leiper's Fork and have been doing so for a few years. We always look for ecclectic and unusual places to stay. The area is so full of history and natural beauty and we love open mic night at Puckett's Grocery. We have never been disappointed in the places we have stayed and we were very pleased this time also. The cabin was rustic, clean and very homey. The cabin had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful and friendly. The setting with the river and friendly horses was just beautiful and we enjoyed our few days there and we can't wait to stay there again.
Having been to Leiper's Fork many many times, I was familiar with the area and this place is located in the perfect spot. Close to everything yet you see nothing buy gorgeous views forever. It is truly a paradise. I took my daughter who is 10 and we not only loved every aspect of the meticulously clean, sophisticated yet very homey and warm cabin...we truly enjoyed country living at its best. From cooking pies to fishing, playing with the horses outside our front door, shooting, zip lining, fires with friends, music and smores...well it couldn't have been any more perfect. The owners Jack and Caroline were there and as warm and helpful as can be. I can't wait to book this place again and again!
We got excited merely heading toward the property. The drive from Nashville is spectacular, and it introduces you to the stunning Franklin/Leiper's Fork area.
Walking through the doors of the cabin only confirmed that we'd pick the perfect property (and we're PICKY people). The picturesque porch swing, the comfy leather sofa, the huge television & excellent cable selection, spotless bathroom, and picturesque kitchen (soft-close drawers! Keurig! Ice-making machine! GORGEOUS copper sink!) -- I couldn't have felt more immediately comfortable and peaceful.
Caroline & Jack were gracious, generous hosts, welcoming us to all areas of their property (thank you both!). And, just when I figured our arrival couldn't be any more ideal, lightening bugs sparkled-up the front yard at dusk. Amazing.
We so enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Everything we needed was there and in great, working order. It was cozy and romantic and in the beautiful countryside. Couldn't have been better for our quick getaway and for running the Franklin Half Marathon just two miles away in Leipers Fork. Highly recommend!
We spent our honeymoon here last year and couldn't wait to come back. The cabin is exactly as featured. Love sitting out on porch swing to watch the horses.
The pool is very warm and has a fantastic blue light that simply glows at night. The landscape lighting is extensive plus I love all the twinkle lights that were added around pool. Very magical at night. The koi pond is huge. So are some of the fish.
The cabin is spotlessly cleaned. Love all the choices for coffee in the morning. The bed is to die for. Most comfortable I've ever slept on.
We haven't much used the TV, but when we did our options were plenty.
Wifi service is very fast.
I highly recommend this property.
I stayed at Caroline's and Jack's property while attending a professional conference in Nashville. It was wonderful to be able to escape to such a beautiful and peaceful place after a busy day of meetings and session presentations. The only draw back was the lack of WiFi, which meant I had to deal with email on my iPhone- a bit difficult with my oldish eyes. Otherwise, it was a perfect visit and I look forward to staying at Morningside Farm again.
