Sleeps 12-14/year round available/ 4 bedrooms/ 3 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom

Our family's full-sized second home. It sleeps 12 people and would be great for small family reunions. You can watch and enjoy majestic eagles flying and fishing over the lake from any one of the 3 decks (upper and lower on the house, and one lakeside with attached dock. Paddleboat, 2 kayaks, rowboat, canoe, and sailboat included. Firepit by the lake, lots of wood included. Fishing poles, golf clubs included, 2 bikes. Large lawn area in front and rear yards for your enjoyment. 2 gas grills, one on upper deck of house, and one on lakeside deck, each with nearby umbrella tables and extra chairs. Large hammock. Many blueberry bushes on property to pick during season. Modern kitchen, granite countertops, Large Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. Large picture windows in bedrooms, living room, and dining room with amazing view of the lake. Kitchen fully equipped, ice maker, all cooking and serving utensils. 2 TV's, broadband wireless internet access, cable TV service, phone, air, piano.

Large room over 2 car garage: Has 2 single beds and Single bed with pullout single, and large sectional sofa. Finished basement has 2 single beds, 2 sofas, a TV, , treadmill, small library, extra chairs, 2 back doors to large lower deck with hammock and heavy duty wood and leather chairs/glass table set. Perennial gardens in front and back of house. Upper deck is off of living room and has a gas grill, umbrella glass table with many extra chairs, and fantastic view of lake. Air conditioned.

Beautiful home!! The house and grounds are in very good condition. All amenties as described. Lake is great for fishing and boating but the water is unswimmable. Great chance to view several bald eagles up close. Very exciting!! Local area is quiet and uninteresting. Beautiful, scenic, and quiet vacation spot.

We rented this beautiful home for our family reunion for five nights. The pictures posted do not do it justice. The view is breathtaking and we could only imagine how magnificent it is in autumn when the foliage is at its peak. The house was clean and fully stocked. The huge room above the garage was a real bonus and perfect for all the cousins to be together. We had a great time with all the boats and lake toys that are provided. The lake was much bigger than we thought it would be and so peaceful and serene. We had fun fishing and kayaking but it is not for swimming. A few went golfing at swan lake golf course and said the course was great and had a nice bar with friendly owners. We would absolutely recommend this family -friendly home as a "get away from it all" vacation!

Myself and 9 other friends were looking for a fun weekend away from NYC and stumbled upon this house and fell in love. The house was just as described, super clean and very well equipped. As there were 10 of us, there was plenty of room and we could have definitely slept a few more and still have been comfortable.

We were able to use the grills and cook some amazing meals and all have dinners together. During the day everyone took out the kayaks and canoes and just enjoyed the lake. While the bottom was a bit slimey, it's a lake - what do you expect! Just be sure to bring some water shoes. At night we made a fire in the fire pit down by the lake and roasted marshmallows.

The views from all rooms in the house are stunning and it was just so peaceful to be out there.

The only true complaint was that we wished that we were there for longer!

My family had a fabulous week here in August, 2012. We enjoyed the house and grounds: the kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and fire pit. The house was just as described-- clean, roomy, well stocked and well maintained. The owner was available to answer any questions we had. We would love to return in the future!

Mike was very pleasant and easy-going (which was great because we brought little kids into his house), and the house was beautiful and easily accommodated our large extended family.

However, the lake was atrocious and not for swimming. We did use the boats a bit, but had to travel 20 minutes and pay $5 per head for the nearest beach. There were kiddy pools available, but we spent most of our days at the nearby beach.

The property itself is very private and beautiful with lots of space for running around. BIG shame about lake. I would recommend this property to families planning reunions as we did, but only if swimming is not a priority.
Owner's Response: This year is a bad one for the lake because of the dry spell we are having, which is lowering the level of the lake. I agree it is not good for swimming because of the rocky shore and muddy bottom, which I tell prospective guests. Our lake is the best for fishing in the area, and the view
is hard to beat, and 7 boats are included with the rental.
