The other section of the home has a large, fully equipped kitchen, living room, huge family room with cathedral ceilings and a large nautical themed fireplace. A master bedroom with views of the backyard and master bath with a dual vanity round out the bottom floor. The upstairs of this home has two more bedrooms and another large bathroom with dual sinks and ocean views.

If you didn't feel like you were in a tropical oasis, you will as soon as you walk into this backyard. The first thing that will catch your eye is the 25 foot waterfall with pond as you look across the yard. You can't help but notice the towering palms and bird of paradise trees that adorn the perimeter of the yard or the gorgeous flagstone around the pond and in the middle of the courtyard. A secluded hot tub is available for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or you may want to use the large BBQ for dinners.
Talk a walk to the outdoor upstairs area where you can sit and relax in several areas including the Crow's Nest where you can have a drink while watching sunsets over the bay.
During those rare cool nights, enjoy the heat of the fire pit in the middle of the courtyard.
Plenty of seating will ensure that all of your guests are comfortable.
If you are lucky, you may get to meet the two resident hummingbirds that live just outside the family room door.
We were the first people to stay at this house and were blown away. The drive up the hill was unbelievable with multi-million dollar homes and incredible views of the bay and skyline. The house was very spacious with hardwood floors and raised ceilings in almost every room. All the bedrooms were spacious and most had views of the bay and/or backyard. We spent most of our time in the gorgeous backyard which had a firepit, BBQ, a waterfall, and hot tub. Even though this house wasn't right on the beach, it was close to almost all of the popular SD attractions including Presidio PArk, Old Town, Sea World, Balboa Park, and the SD zoo. The owner was always quick to answer any questions and had lots of suggestions on things to do and see. Quiet, spacious, clean, and well equipped, you will not regret renting this home.
Had an awesome time in san diego. The house was perfect for my large family.
We loved our vacation and mainly because of our accommodations! The house provided us with more than enough space for 12 persons and the kids enjoyed playing and sleeping in the kids room/play room. Overall great place to vacay!
My family and I live in Orange county so very close by but wanted a family get together somewhere. This was the perfect place. Its very large and spacious. We had a blast in San Diego Old Town, went to see the USS midway (zoo and seaworld was very close but we've been there before) had a very large family dinner that we cooked here and went out to several places for fine dining. We then gathered around the fire ring and had some laughs. A great trip overall and my aunts, uncles and cousins couldn't stop thanking me for finding such an awesome place to do it. Thanks for all the new memories!
We take several trips each year and stay in vacation rentals whenever we can. This rental was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious. The home had every amenity you could imagine including bath robes, a welcome gift basket, toys and games for the kids, chocolates, and even discount tickets to some of the attractions the manager knew we were planning on visiting. The property manager also made some recommendations on where to get Thanksgiving dinner and some other great spots. Overall, this was the best experience we have had with a vacation rental and are planning on coming back again.
This house exceeded all of our expectations.Pictures do not do this home justice The house is gorgeous, well maintained, modern, and has every amenity you could ask for! You can tell whomever takes care of this house takes a lot of pride in it. The home was extremely well stocked with everything and more you would have in your own home. Two coffee makers stocked with a good selection of coffee, creamers, and the like was also available. Essential items needed for cooking were supplied including oils, spices, aluminum foil, etc. Greg the property manager, was very helpful in regards to recommendations on places to eat and things to do. He even arranged a murder mystery tour for us down the hill in Old Town. Almost forgot... The backyard.... What an incredible surprise...Imagine your own private little island resort / getaway. Who would have ever imagined that this could exist in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The BBQ was great, the fire pit was so nice for the cool San Diego evenings, the hot tub was perfect and relaxing after a long day and the entire home had been setup for music inside and outside of the home which just added to the entire experience. The home is close to everything... short distance to the bay, Sea World, restaurants, and convenience stores. Greg was great to work with and even had a gift basket for us with wine and basic items to make our trip great. We plan on making this an annual trip and will be staying here or at another of Greg's properties for years to come. This home and experience was nothing short of amazing!
I felt that the house was great! We had a good view, it was private, close to everything. The house was clean and comfortable and I would recommend to others.
