3 Bedroom, 2 Baths + Outdoor Shower Bayside Home with Private Dock and Wi-Fi

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath stilt home on the bay side of Little Gasparilla Island provides all the luxuries of home. Island Style decor completes the vacation experience. Large kitchen and open living area. The perfect vacation home!

Location on the bay side of the island adds a level of convenience, for unloading groceries or bringing in the days catch, that you don't get with many other island rental properties of this quality.

The private dock off the front of the home adds a level of security and keeps your boat visible at all times, right from the home.

Friendly neighbors have been property owners for decades. Be sure to take the short walk to the beach to take in the sunset. If you haven't already met the neighbors, you will at sunset!

The island in itself is a magical getaway. Be sure to bring all of the groceries you will need to make this your home during your stay. The closest grocery store is on the mainland, however there are several bars/restaurants accessible by boat if you wish to dine out. I highly recommend the trip across Charlotte Harbor to Cabbage Key for a 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' or 'Golden Margarita'...but don't forget to bring your dollar bill to leave your mark! Other local restaurants accessible by boat include The Fishery, Waterside Grill at Gasparilla Marina and Stump Pass Grille, and several others. Water taxi's are available to transport you to these restaurants or the mainland for groceries.

Fishing the nearby mangrove islands and grass flats can snag you some nice redfish or snapper. The old railroad trestle to Boca Grande is nearly always a hot spot, especially for the kids to fish!

The island and this home are host to many great memories, both from my own childhood and my children's.

Please respect the shell shelf and any other personal belongings, they all hold memories!

Little Gasparilla Island is accessible only by boat. There is a water taxi to shuttle you over for a fee or you can use and dock your own vessel on the 'Island Time' private dock.

We spent our first week on Little Gasparilla and were thrilled with the Island Time house. Even though we didn't have a boat on the island, the dock was great for visitors and fishing. The walk to the beach is short, and the neighbors were very friendly. We'd go back next week if we could! The sunrise over the bay is fantastic.

We vacation on Little Gasparilla quite often. This house is by far the nicest rental on the island. Upgraded kitchen and bathrooms and beautifully decorated. Our family included young children and a grandmother. Whether we were relaxing at the beach, exploring the island, or fishing, there was something for everyone. The private dock for our boat is a must have here on the island and the beach is a very short walk away. The marina and Boca Grande Pass are both short boat rides away too It is the perfect location for boaters. One of the best family vacations we have had. Couldn't have asked for more.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
