Photos and Description of the Alvaneu vacation house rental

Next to the patrician house, you’ll find the little washhouse, that was rebuilt by the owners´ dad, into a charming little holiday cottage. Until 1975 both houses were a unit together. In the romantic language you call the house “Casot”. The “Casot” is an adorable, beautiful, little, free-standing 2 bedroom (downstairs 2 beds, upstairs 4 beds) house for people without demand a great deal of it. It is small but nice. The house is amid the village with view on the south seated mountains and chapel “Sontg-Antoni”. The lovely kept house is having a great lawn for sunbathing (60 m²) and a roofed pergola where you have a barbecue-Grill, chairs and a table.

Romantic village divided into Alvaneu Dorf and Bad. Alvaneu is situated in the middle of greenery on the sunny terrace of the Albula valley with a superb climate. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling and skiing with the well-known health resorts of Davos, Lenzerheide, Savognin and Bergün. Our holiday resort is 27 km from Davos, 13 km from Lenzerheide and 17 km from Savognin. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. There is a thermal pool and a wellness centre in the near. You have access to railway station 'Davos / Lenzerheide' and a bus service is available. For arrivals by plane: airport Zürich.

Notes: Next to the refrigerator and the stove you have a big table for 6 people. Also very special in the kitchen is the wood-stove where you can fix great meals as well as heating up the room on cold days. In all other rooms are radiators.

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) waren jetzt schon 2 mal im Casot und sind hell begeistert. Das kleine aber überaus zweckmässig eingerichtete Häuschen ist einfach zum verlieben. Der Garten mit dem Grillplatz ist natürlich genaus so einladend und wenn man dann noch selbst Holz hacken darf, ist der Spass perfekt. Für Ausflüge gibt es unendlich viele Möglichkeiten an diesem schönen Fleckchen. Wir empfehlen es sehr gerne weiter aber noch lieber gehen wir selbst wieder hin (grins).

Wir haben uns im Casot sehr wohl gefühlt. Für Familien, die auch gerne mal selber Spaghetti kochen ideal.
