Overall the home was nice. The layout was nice and spread out, plenty of room for 12 adults. The pool table was nice to have as well. However we did have some issues....
Starting with the outside, wow, the driveway is rough. I know it mentioned that in some reviews online, but had no idea it would be quite that bad. Even the Chevy Tahoe we drove scraped pulling in and out. Also, for the outside, the hot tub adjustments did not work, we were unable to make it cooler or warmer.
We ran into some issues inside as well:
-We had to re wash all the plates and pots/pans that we used through the trip as we pulled them out of the cupboards, because they inevitably were covered with old food, some items we wanted to use were just put away without being washed at all by the previous guests.... gross.
-The oven was filthy, every time we used it the smoke detectors went off because the stuff in the bottom of the oven smoked so badly.
-The master bath tub didn't work
- The master shower: main shower head didn't work
- One of the bedrooms had the stained sheets upon arrival
- extra blankets in the bedrooms were dirty and stained
-unable to locate the roll away beds
- One of the bedrooms TV was stuck on one channel, unable to change it
- the internet connection went in and out the whole time we were there (I know that's not a guaranteed thing as it depends on the provider, but still wanted to add it)
Overall, from the pictures we saw online, and the price that we paid ($1700), we expected a little more.
Owner's Response: I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you encountered during your stay. The place should have been in tip top shape for your arrival and it's unfortunate to hear that a few things were not right. We have a fantastic emergency maintenance person Rick who is happy to help with any issues during your stay and unfortunately he was only aware of the stained sheets which he did offer to bring new ones asap. Had you made him aware of the other items he would've gladly come by to help fix them. I hope that you'll give us another chance in the future to provide you with a great stay.
