This is Kiawah's perfect family vacation home... and it received extensive renovations in time for Summer 2014!
This lovely 6 bedroom home sits on a private lot at the end of Nicklaus Lane, just across the street from the beach access path. Though located inside the Vanderhorst Plantation, you are still close to The Sanctuary and Turtle Point Clubhouse.
This beautiful residence greets you with a new front entry staircase and front door. When you enter the home, the dining room and kitchen are to the left, the main living space is straight ahead, and the master suite is to the right. The lovely dining room offers a large table with seating for 8 and 3 stools at the kitchen bar. The fully equipped, gourmet kitchen showcases custom cabinetry, granite countertops, rustic center island, and breakfast area with a table and seating for 4. The light-filled living room features a sofa and cozy chairs, relaxing window seat overlooking the deck and pool, large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and Blu-ray player for your favorite movies. A powder room is just off the living room. Down the hall is the incredibly spacious master suite boasting a king bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV and Blu-ray player, and a large bathroom with double sinks, roomy shower, and soaking tub.
Just off the kitchen’s breakfast area is a screened porch with a dining table and 6 chairs as well as access to the back deck. The home’s large yet private deck and swimming pool are surrounded by trees and sunshine. (This pool cannot be heated and is covered from fall until spring.) The deck features a gas grill as well as multiple lounge and Adirondack chairs. Both the screened porch and deck offer golf course and lagoon views.
Ascend the stairs to the second floor and you are greeted by a hallway cozy sitting area and access to a small porch on the front of the house. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms on the second floor. To the right is the first parent-child suite: the first room features a queen bed, flat-screen TV and DVD player; the second room has two twin beds; the bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Towards the back of the home is a queen bedroom with flat-screen TV and DVD player, a balcony overlooking the deck and pool, and a private sink vanity for the shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo. To the left is the second parent-child suite: the first room features a queen bed, flat-screen TV and DVD player, and a private sink vanity for the shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo; the second room has two twin beds and its own bathroom with shower.
The home is furnished with washer, dryer, and high speed wireless internet.
During your stay on Kiawah, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golf on one of five world class golf courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, boating, kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston where you can enjoy incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, South Carolina aquarium, IMAX Theater, horse drawn carriage rides, and sumptuous dining at many of the fine dining establishments in the city.

A $45 non-refundable damage fee is charged to each reservation.
Stays of 3 nights or less will be charged an additional fee for housekeeping.
