comfortable and bright

We chose this apartment initially for its' location. My husband was scheduled for a medical procedure at Hospital European Georges Pompidou and this was an easy one 20 minute bus ride from there. Since our stay in Paris was one month, we also wanted a comfortable apartment with a bit of space. Marcs' apartment is nice and bright with sound-proofed floor to ceiling windows, that can be opened, overlooking the street. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with a small lift, that makes it easy for luggage and shopping. It was very clean, you have a living room, dining room, a very well-equipped kitchen, a nice bath with tub and shower, and a bedroom with a king-size very COMFORTABLE bed. Don't be fooled by the small bedside lights in the photos--they are bright enough for reading. The living room sofa is a pull out--small double-so that was perfect for my sister who was with us for 10 days. The kitchen has modern appliances-4 flattop burners plus oven with convection, a Senseo coffee machine, dishwasher, as well as a combination clothes washer & dryer which is a great plus to have on a longer stay. You can trust Marc to have everything in order for your stay-he is so helpful and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. The neighborhood is wonderful. It is extremely close to several buses and the Metro, you can get anywhere you want to go. All you need is there-bakeries, groceries, chocolatiers, restaurants, pharmacies and other shops. There is a wonderful open market surrounding the neighborhood on Sundays which is not to be missed. Also great daily shopping that is very Parisian nearby on Cambronne and Lecourbe. There is a park close by--great for jogging, walking, or just relaxing and watching the world go by. (with a view of the Eiffel Tower!) You will have a true Parisian experience in this comfortable apartment.
