I had my reservations about renting this property after reading mixed reviews about the resort. I was especially concerned with the cleanliness aspect. I have to say, the minute we opened the door to this unit, all of us said "Wow!". What a GORGEOUS unit!. It was everything described and more. It was a perfect size, the place was immaculate, tastefully decorated,the rooms/closets were spacious, the beds were comfortable, it was HOME! We rented a vehicle and were only about 20 to 30 minutes away from the parks. And for the days when we wanted down time - what a perfect place to stay. Our biggest decision of the day was "which pool should we go to". Unlike other resorts we have been to - the pools were not overcrowded. And the service - granted we only had dealings with the bartenders/waitress at the 2 poolside restraunt/bars was awesome - VERY friendly.
The resort itself is not on the main drag but very close to it - everything was a short drive away- and - if you plan on bringing lunch to the parks - or even having lunch poolside- I highly recommend Publix supermarkets deli made sandwiches. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Renting through Greendale was a breeze. I am already forwarding this property along to many of my friends and co-workers as an ideal place to stay if you want to stay near not in Disney.
Thank you so much for one of the most stress-free vacations we have had - and we will definitely be looking to rent this unit again!
