We rented a unit similar to the one pictured here in the same building, however, it was much more sparse than in the photos shown. Walls were white "builders" paint, scuffed everywhere, with absolutely no art or colour to brighten up the rooms. The carpet was not particularly clean and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. However, we did enjoy having use of a kitchen, the laundry facilities, and the pool area. The parklike setting of the location was lovely and we could walk to everything we wanted to see in Chicago. We could see the Navy Pier fireworks out the bedroom window. We had a great vacation, only marred by the dinginess of the apartment. We paid for cleaning in advance --- which would not have been frustrating at all if the apartment had been clean when we got there, without the badly scuffed walls, and a bed that was more comfortable. A little of our rent money for a few inexpensive touch-ups would go a long way to improving this rental.

Due "less careful guests" the walls tend to get scuffed as guests move in and out of the apartments (dragging their luggage). We realize that this is an issues and we typically schedule our apartments to get painted 4 times per year (before every season) and the carpet gets clean every 2 months.
