I have been renting houses in Mendocino area for many years, and Colby House may just be my favorite pet friendly place to stay. The house has incredible views and enough room for 4 people. The master bedroom is awesome, both bedrooms have large bathrooms. A stone's throw from the Villages of Mendo and Little River; not in the boonies like a lot of rental properties are. (Be warned: There's a big difference between Mendo County and Mendocino) The house is charming and well maintained. Only wrinkle is that there is no cell phone reception at the house, so if you need that, you're out of luck unless you drive into town. The grounds are stunning and you can tell the house is loved by its owners.
