Wonderful authentic cabin

Our two families, totaling eight, had a great week-long stay at Cabin Fever. It has an authentic vintage atmosphere combined with up-to-date comforts. The area was very quiet, private and woodsy, yet we could be in town in a just a few minutes. The easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a nice bonus. The high elevation made it cool despite the warmer temperatures in Boone, and we did not need the AC. There is plenty of room, and all the bedrooms are comfortable, as well as the furniture. You can fit eight at the dining room table or out on the porch at the picnic table. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking full meals. The pool table in large loft was a lot of fun, and we all enjoyed sitting on a rocking chair on one of the porches for morning coffee. We saw several deer from the porch. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and we hope to return.
