The 'Four de Leigh' is a family-owned beach house. The owners are natives of Louisiana--Fleur de Lis nation. They have frequented Pensacola Beach for many years and purchased a beach house to make memories with their families and friends and to share with guests the same. The home is a tasteful mix of southern class, fleur de lis and coastal beach living. The 'Four de Leigh's name was established to represent the owners' four daughters all of which bare the middle name 'Leigh'.

I can't recommend this rental home highly enough! The pictures don't really do it justice--the rooms are bigger, brighter, and more comfortable than the photos show, and the seaside decks are huge, shady, and breezy. As so many others have commented, this house is extremely well equipped with tableware and glassware, more pots and pans than you can imagine, loads of extra towels and beach towels, and every kind of beach stuff you could possibly want--folding chairs, umbrellas, floats, sand buckets, and endless beach toys. Plus a charcoal Weber grill, and an open shower under the house for washing off sand and salt water. The air conditioning and ice maker are in top form, and all bedrooms (plus the main living room) have TVs. Wifi connection was flawless.
The best part, to my mind, is the location. The house sits on a very quiet street that runs parallel to the Gulf. All the other houses for blocks around are single family, one- or two-story; every house is different--this is not a builder's development. High rise hotels and condos are located far away. This means that the beach feels like a private beach, with very few other people. The sand is just as everyone describes--pure white, soft, powdery. The Gulf water is usually crystal clear, and about waist deep for a long way out. Waves are gentle. This makes the beach and water very child-friendly.
The shops, restaurants, fishing pier, etc are about a mile away. A few minutes east is a national park (Gulf Islands National Park, I think) with miles and miles of beach and sand dunes, totally undeveloped.
Pensacola (the city) is maybe 15 minutes away, with an amazing and huge fish market (Joe Patti's Seafood Market), lots of restaurants, and the excellent military air museum at the Naval Air Station.
All in all, Four de Leigh is a gem!
To say this place is nice is an understatement. Our family was so impressed, plenty of room inside and out. My grandchildren had a blast their first time at the beach. The food places were awesome and close by. If there was a grocery store you would never have to cross the bridge. Again thanks for allowing us to make great memories at such a gorgeous spot.
The Brown's, Melancons, Patins and Wiltz
Our extended family just returned from another annual visit to P'cola Beach and we returned for the 3rd year to Four de Leigh. It is a wonderfully maintained home with a fully stocked kitchen and nice linens. The available beach chairs & floats make it ready for fun! Thanks to the Meyer family and Andrea for making everything such a pleasure to return.
Everything is covered with this house. Andrea was pleasant and let us know if there was anything we needed to just call. Nothing was needed. They have beach chairs, beach towels, and floats galore! We went after the season so the beach was beautiful and quiet. the house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We will definitely stay here again!
The Four De Leigh is a perfect vacation home. It is beautiful and very accommodating to ones every need. Our agent was the best when helping with any questions we threw at her. Thanks Andrea you really eased our minds with your ready answers.
The house was perfect! Plenty of room for the whole family and the renovations were beautiful. Even though it rained on us a few day we didn't mind because we had so much fun at the house. We take this family trip every year and we hope to stay at this beach house again next year.
