I have really enjoyed decorating our cottage with a lighthouse decor. The kitchen includes all modern appliances such as microwave, oven, coffee machine, bread machine, and dishwasher. The washer & dryer are located in the basement. The bedrooms contain a queen size in one and a full size in the other. You can enjoy the gas grill on our over-sized deck as you watch the beautiful sunset. Provided for your stay are satellite tv's located in the living room, bedrooms, and loft, vcr, dvd and local telephone. The loft has a mini game table, a queen-size futon and a writing desk. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, & pans. Linens, paper goods, and towels are provided. A full tub & shower will help you relax after a long hike on any of the hundreds of miles of trails on the island. There is an electric fireplace in the living room to warm the soul and body. Wifi is provided.
Well behaved pets allowed with prior permission. $50 pet cleaning fee. $25 per each additional pet.
Deposit of 50% is required to reserve. Balance is due upon arrival. We accept payment through Paypal, money order or personal check. 30 day cancellation policy. We are only 10 miles from Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park. This is a wonderful place to vacation and I know you won't be disappointed in what we have to offer here on Mt. Desert Island!

We are located in Hall Quarry which is close to Southwest Harbor and borders on Acadia National Park. Our cottage is surrounded by majestic pine trees and overlooks Echo Lake. Across the road is a dock on the lake with kayaks for your enjoyment.

George & I have lived here for over 30 years. George is a native of this island & I grew up in a small town on the main land overlooking this island. We built this cottage over 10 years ago & have enjoyed ten years of successful renting. We are always booked for the summer season so don't wait to get that reservation! You will truly love staying at our cozy cottage.
