About Mark Phillips
Restless Native is a family owned company with one boat in our 'Fleet'. Our boat 'Aria' was our home for over a year in Europe and the Caribbean. After a bout with cancer, I decided that I wanted to spend some very good quality time with my family without the normal day to day distractions.
In June 2007 we went to live on Aria. After six weeks of outfitting our boat in the beautiful French Port of La Rochelle on the Atlantic Ocean we departed for Spain. We sailed to Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean.
Since the weather was bad and getting worse, we had a crew sail Aria from Barcelona, Spain to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.
We sailed the Caribbean for several months until we returned home to Hawaii.
We now live in the wonderful Florida Keys where we are able to enjoy sailing Aria whenever we want to.
Mark Phillips purchased this yacht in 2007
Why Mark Phillips chose Key West
Key West is a wonderful and vibrant city with terrific restaurants, hotels, friendly people, great diving, snorkeling and of course, sailing.
Our location in the Historic City Marina in 'Old Town' is ideal. It is the most protected berth in the harbor and we are close to everything that Key West offers. During the day, the seaport is a bustling harbor but at night it is extremely quiet and serene.
We want to share our love for the water with new friends and this is the ideal way.
What makes this yacht unique
Living on a luxury yacht in a Historic Seaport is a unique experience. You have all of the amenities you expect from luxury accommodations and yet you become part of the community, unlike staying in a hotel.
Have you ever dreamt of sailing on a yacht? Aria is 42 feet long and 25 feet wide and is very spacious and stable. Living in a marina is a unique experience and is not for everyone, but for those who love the boating lifestyle and the water this is the perfect way to experience living aboard!
