Todos Santos is only a 1-hour scenic drive from Cabo, but it feels like a different world: the perfect balance of Mexican culture, art and architecture, with just enough modern amenities.
There’s something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy nearby surfing and swimming; hiking in the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains; horseback riding; and kayaking. Nature lovers appreciate whales, turtles, pelicans and other wildlife. And artists are inspired by the natural beauty and character of the town.
Everyone will relish the fantastic culinary options. From street-side tacos, to eclectic cafes, to fine dining of all genres, food will highlight your trip. Or, buy fresh fish from the local fishermen, and fresh tortillas and organic vegetables in town, and grill from the patio overlooking the sunset!
Hear the ocean waves lulling you to sleep Bajo Las Estrellas.

Husband is a bodysurfing aficionado. We found a lovely, unspoiled beach with good conditions for bodysurfing.
Wife likes to learn about Mexican culture and enjoys practicing her Spanish by getting to know the locals. She also appreciates the artistic offerings (both visual and performing arts) of Todos Santos.
The large upstairs patio provides a wonderful place to unwind, BBQ, and look at the ocean view, birds, whales, and sunsets. After dark the upstairs patio is an observation deck to see the stars.
What else do we like about it? Tranquility and relaxation
Living a full outdoor life even in winter
Creating a home with furniture made by Mexican carpenters
Escaping the rat race
From start to finish, this experience was beautiful. The owners are a wealth of local information and the house was stunning. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean and dining on the upstairs deck was incredible. We walked to the ocean each day to find it surprisingly empty.
The house is impeccably furnished and comfortably sleeps 6 people easily. Our young children loved their private sand pit in the yard while the adults enjoyed gorgeous views of the surroundings.
The drive to town is a solid 10 minutes and good swimming beach 20. Perfect for us!
Many thanks for sharing this special house.
We - a family of 5 - spent 9 days in Bajo Las Estrellas. We had a wonderful time in this extraordinary place! The house is way more spacious than it seems on the photos plus it has a lot of outdoor space (both downstairs and upstairs patios) with fantastic ocean views. We loved having breakfast under the palapa shade with the ocean right in front of us. The hammocks on the upper patio were another favorite.
The upper master bedroom is a wonderful place to withdraw and enjoy the serenity and the views. All bedrooms are painted in joyful colors and feature unique handcrafted furniture and colorful beddings... a clear statement of the owner's great taste. The house has everything you need for a super-relaxing vacation, including Wifi and Netflix :-). There are even beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas provided - perfect for exploring the beautiful beaches of the area (our favorite beach was Las Palmas, where it was safe enough for the kids to enjoy the surf). Both the owner and the property manager are extremely friendly and helpful and a great source for recommendations on restaurants and other things to do.
This was our second time to Todos Santos and we love the special vibe of this Pueblo Mágico. Bajo Las Estrellas is definitely one of the best places to enjoy it all - the weather, the nature, the silence, the quirky and artsy scene of both Pescadero and Todos Santos. We will definitely be back!
My wife and I spent 2 weeks in this lovely home and it is aboalutely fabulous! Extremely comfortable and convenient. We ended up driving the entire southern loop from Todos, La Paz, Barriles, San Jose Cabo, Cabo and back. We did this on three different days. Our favorite palace was the bakery/cafe in La Triunfo. Newly opened and very cool. Body surfed Cerritos, San Pedro, Las Palmas and the break just north of Las Tunas. Shopped and eat at every restaurant that the owner Pat had recommended. The whole area of southern baja is safer and friendlier than any vacation area I have been including the carribean and Hawaii. The people of Mexico currently living in southern baja have for the most part migrated to the area for ecconomic reasons so that it has created a unique combination of Mexico, Canada, US and European blend that is very harmonious. There is not a large native population that feels displaced by the influx of foriegn wealth as is the case in Hawaii or Canacun. The water, weather and easy of travel is wonderful. From 5 star european style resorts in Cabo to tents on the beach Baja Sur is a vacation destination for everyone and especially if drawn to the old world charm of Mexican hospitality.
Perfect fit for family reunions. Lots of space and access to many different experiences.
Owners and caretakers especially thoughtful.
Todos Santos is a very friendly place. Very relaxing. And they aren't kidding about the whales!
We had an amazing week in Todos Santos, in this incredibly comfortable, light and airy house, within walking distance to a most beautiful beach. Close to a sea turtle hatchery! Friendly and helpful property manager, who lives close by with his family and two adorable dogs, Mancha and Caramela. Has a very nice private bedroom upstairs, with stunning views of the coast nearby. Truly a healing experience for our family!
We had an amazing time staying at your beautiful beach house in Todos Santos, Mex.
Your manager met us in town when we arrived, and led us to the property. He showed us the house, talked about the surrounding area and helped us arrange our activities for the week. He was most helpful in finding us a small local fishing charter. We had a great time fishing and caught many tasty fish that we enjoyed up on the upstairs terrace. The view from that terrace was amazing!! We spent most of our time up there, eating, talking, and stargazing at night. I actually slept outside on the terrace the whole time!
The house was equipped with all of the amenities that we needed to cook, entertain, and relax...
The area was naturally beautiful, quiet, & peaceful. No problems wit any noisy neighbors or animals. I would love to return for another visit some day soon... I hope I will someday:)
Board and bodysurfing, badminton.
