In a well-tended private villa park near Marina di Maratea lies the spacious Villa Riviello. Evergreen olive trees adorn the terraced property which slopes towards the sea. The small park-owned bathing bay is only 300 m away. Enjoy the seaview from the big, partially roofed terrace and the wonderful tranquillity during a sunbath surrounded by the green of the garden. The Mediterranean garden invites you to relax in privacy. From the terrace you reach the spacious living and dining area with a rustic wooden ceiling and open fireside. Passing through the arch you reach by a wooden staircase 3 double bedrooms which all have a dreamlike sea-view balcony. One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom (bath tub with shower device, WC, Bidet) and sea-view balcony. An additional bathroom on the first floor is equipped with shower, WC and bidet. On the lower floor of the house you find another double bedroom with bathroom (shower, WC, bidet) from which you have access to the garden.

It is where the Basilicata region touches the Tyrrhenian Sea along a narrow strip of 25 km that you find one of the last bathing paradises of southern Italy. Crystal clear water and luxuriant vegetation, which stretches from the beach up to the heights of the hinterland, distinguish the countryside around the famous small mountain town of Maratea. Idyllic and yet unbelievably lively – especially at night -, Maratea with its narrow alleys, piazzas, bars and exquisite restaurants still spreads the magic of the Mezzogiorno. And above all this, visible form afar, towers the statue of the Messiah on top of the Monte di San Biagio. By the way: The Cilento national park is only 30 km away. Nearest train station: Maratea. Gorgeous sandy and shingle beaches as well as magnificently clean water invite you take a sunbath or a swim anywhere along the Costa di Maratea. Particularly lovely shingle beaches can be found near Marina di Maratea.
