The second bedroom of the Main House is open and bright with two full size beds under a white-washed open beam ceiling. It has a private bath and a separate entrance off the central patio. A covered sitting porch just outside offers a shaded restful spot on the central patio. The Adobe Cottage is the largest of the 3 guest cottages on the property, and it is the oldest known adobe structure on Padaro Lane. A private entrance to the cottage is off the central patio. The living room decor is casual and elegant in San Ysidro Ranch style. The wood burning fireplace creates a rustic ambiance filling the room with warmth. Large windows facing the ocean bring an abundance of light and cool ocean breezes to the space.

The Adobe Cottage Master Bedroom with king size bed is adjacent to the second bedroom with a twin size bed; ideal to keep sleeping children nearby. Completing the picture of this 2 bedroom cottage is a well equipped full kitchen and colorful Mexican pottery accents. Just off the central patio and under a shady magnolia is the Surf Cottage with its own private deck. The décor is bright and cheerful in this very comfortable space that sleeps 3 with a queen size bed and a twin bed. A full kitchen with bistro table adds convenience to this enjoyable studio cottage. The Surfliner Cottage is tucked under large shady trees and is set back 100 feet (?) from the main house and central patio. There are two twin beds and a full bath. Sliding glass doors bring the coastal breezes right inside while offering access to its own peaceful patio with lounges and dining table just outside. The reason for its name is obvious as the Amtrak Surfliner train passes by just across Padaro Lane!
