Breath-taking views, gated mountain top retreat, spacious 1100 sq ft condo designed with family in mind but perfect for a couples Get-a-way retreat!

Banner Elk, NC provides the perfect back drop for this condo located at the top of Sugar Mountain. Located on the 5th floor, the stars are within your reach at night and the mountains are beautiful to wake up to! The master suite is located on one side with the living area between the quest room and bath, allowing privacy and ample room for enjoyment.

There is no bad time to visit. Spring brings the beautiful colors of the mountain to life and the hiking trails will allow you to see the waking of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summer supplies a break from the heat with the cooler temperatures, golf, fishing, swimming & boating, white water rafting/kayaking, horseback riding and for the truly adventurous, zip lining! Fall is beauty beyond your imagination, the trees supply more color than any artist rendering, and one you must see for yourself! Winter is a blast if you enjoy the “colder” sports. Within a short drive/shuttle, you will find Skiing, Snowboarding, ice skating and tubing. The wood burning fireplace will be a welcome sight while you snuggle with your loved one sipping a glass of wine or wrestling with the kids who still have energy after a day in the snow!

The friendly staff at Sugar Top will answer any question you might have & are locals who know where the best places are for whatever you are looking for that day! The resort has a glassed-in year round pool with a waterfall that is sure to be a hit with children and allows a great view of the slopes. The pool, hot tub, dry sauna, steam room & fitness room are located just off the lobby so that you never have to go outside to enjoy the amenities.

We have furnished this condo with your convenience in mind and do visit as much as we can. WiFi is present in the lobby and the unit has cable TV in the living room and bedrooms, DVD/VHS player, stereo and washer & dryer. Comfortable balcony furniture is supplied and makes it difficult to go inside.

There is a two night minimum stay but hope that you’ll want more. If coming to the mountain in the winter, please be prepared with 4-wheel drive vehicle or stop at any of the three locations in Banner Elk to purchase snow chains before attempting the trip to the top.

We fell in Love with this mountain, the people and this Resort. Come stay with us and we hope you’ll do the same!!!

I found this condo while looking for accomodations within a easy drive to Bristol Motor Speedway. Fell in love with the resort and after four years of renting decided to buy.

What makes this condo unique

The amenities are top notch and you don't have to go outside to enjoy them. The surrounding towns offer more entertainment and the dining selections are great!

River rafting on the Watauga River, Gem mining, Caverns, Zip lines, Shopping and a great selection of Restaurants within minutes of location. Watauga Lake is a beautiful 30 minute drive. Family fun is at your fingertips but if its' the SNOW that attracts you, this is the place! The slopes are a few minutes drive/shuttle-skiing, snowboarding, tubing & ice skating and a great ski lodge & ski shop are waiting for YOU!

We had a great time. The condo is very large and roomy. For our family with two young boys having twin beds in the room was great so they didn't have to sleep together. They loved the pool as well. It's a short 5-10 minute drive down the mountain to access Sugar Mtn skiing. We cooked mostly in the condo, but did get some pizza from Bella's which I would definitely recommend. They have a nice thin crust. Thanks for making it so easy.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Also heard there was still SNOW for you to enjoy! Bella's is also a favorite of ours and the calzones are pretty good too.

We also like the twin beds for our Gradkids..makes going to sleep a little easier..not such "slumber party". Hope all was clean for your arrival and that if you're in the area again, you'll remember us! Thanks for staying!

We had a wonderful time in the condo! Everything was nice and clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Great views of the slopes from the balcony too! We will definitely be coming back!

Great location and comfy!

The condo has an excellent view and is warm and cozy. It's only a short drive to surrounding attractions, restaurants and grocery. Indoor pool and jacuzzi we're nice to come back to after skiing all day. We had a great time and overall was very nice. Would highly recommend and the owners are very hospitable too.
