Located in the Truman Annex, a gated community with some of the most impressive homes in Key West, this meticulously furnished estate stands out from all the rest in every way. “Noona’s Mansion by-the-Sea' is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac facing the ocean on a beautifully landscaped piece of property that happens to be one of the largest in the Annex; with a large courtyard, a separate guest house, a gazebo and even an artist’s studio. There are two carports, and enough off-street parking for 5 cars.
THE LIVING AREA...
Inside, the living room is large enough for a family reunion, and opens up on two sides to an enormous wraparound veranda. The porch wraps around two sides of the house, and is double-deep where it faces the side lawn. The kitchen is state-of-the-art, with Vermont serpentine stone counter tops.
On the first floor, just off the kitchen, is the first bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath in the hall. On the second floor, you’ll find the master suite with a king bed and French doors overlooking the ocean. The second bedroom suite has your choice of 2 twin beds or a king bed and also has French doors with an ocean view. The third bedroom suite has a king bed set in a large bay window. All three of these bedrooms have their own private bathrooms. On the third floor are a total of 4 twin beds; two each in two separate bedrooms separated by a shared full bathroom. These twin beds can be converted to kings upon request.
THE PRIVATE POOL & A WIDOW'S WALK....
The pool is heated and is sunny just about all day. The surrounding deck is spacious with a large retractable awning for those days when you’ve had enough sun. There is plenty of room to relax on the nearby patio, the spacious veranda, or the large lawn. From the third floor, you can climb a final flight of stairs, and with the press of a button, walk up to the Widow’s Walk, with 360-degree views of the Atlantic, the Gulf and the City of Key West. One thing is certain: you’ll never have enough of “Noona's Mansion-by-the-Sea'.

As I mentioned to you, I have had some unpleasant surprises in renting houses in KW over the years. Your knowledge of KW, enthusiasm and attention to every detail was evident and much appreciated by all. As someone who has spent over 30 years as a venture capitalist backing management teams and making judgments about the quality of people, I have the highest regard for everybody at Last Key (Chris, Dina, Shel and Lori). Everything was as or better than represented and it is clear that you all work as a team to address the needs of your clients first. That is rare in this world, and a distinctive advantage in the business you are in. I am always impressed when I encounter people who have pride in what they do and seem genuinely happy to be a part of a team that executes at the highest level.
In addition, the way the team was able to accommodate us in finding another house for one night was superb, and very much appreciated. Dina took the initiative and Lori was very attentive to getting us settled in. It is rumored that some of our guests took a midnight walk in the graveyard!
Last Key will be my first call when I return to Key West. I would anticipate that we may come back next year, and Noona’s Mansion would be our first choice.
I did not have the pleasure of visiting Noona's Mansion myself, but my colleagues enjoyed a wonderfully arranged company retreat there this winter- thanks to Shel Segal. As Administrative Assistant, I worked one on one with Shel to ensure our employees experienced a flawless and revitalizing trip. It was encouraging to have a concierge who was not only knowledgeable about the area, but receptive to the significance of our event. Our company hosted a corporate retreat at Noona's Mansion early this year. The mansion is set back in a serene location, providing an ambiance that is both relaxing and enjoyable. It offers a full list of amenities and is well equipped with all the necessities to which we’ve become accustomed. The mansion’s proximity to Duvall Street and exceptional management make this property the perfect location for any get-a-way vacation or business event.
Shel Segal of Last Key Realty made the reservation process stress free and assisted our Administrative Assistant in researching and scheduling weekly local attractions and activities. He also helped arrange housekeeping and other services throughout our stay. With a different group of employees visiting each week, it was remarkable how well the mansion was maintained. Shel was truly a pleasure and I recommend his services to all future Key West vacationers.
We had such a good time staying in Noona's Mansion. It was relaxing inside and out. The grounds were beautiful to look at and the pool was heavenly because it was very warm. It had a retractable awning that came out when the sun was hot and retracted back later in the day. The bedrooms were comfortable with private bathrooms and plenty of closet space. The decks from the bedrooms were spacious with chairs and table plus the view.
The ocean is just a few minutes away. Also close to plenty of amazing shops and restaurants. Or you could stay in and cook using the large kitchen which flows into the dining room and living room.
We stayed here in 2013 and now 2015. We had such a good time!
I have to mention the manager was very helpful. I had gone shopping and my husband got locked out and Paul called him and he came right away!
We plan on returning again soon.
My husband and I have been to Key West on several occasions by ourselves and with friends. We love the atmosphere, especially in the Truman Annex area. We decided to stay at Noona's Mansion with our families this past June after celebrating our wedding in NJ. Noona's was a special retreat for everyone in our group from age 1 to 70! We loved being able to relax by the pool, in the yard and on the porches, grill fresh caught mahi for dinner, enjoy the family sized table in the dining room, and of course the beautiful sunsets from the rooftop. The driveways fit 4 cars, 2 mopeds, and 4 bicycles, for the entire week. We were also able to explore on foot from this location with ease. The guest cottage was also perfect for our newlywed suite! Shel did a fantastic job of making sure all our needs were met and was always available to answer our questions. He was extremely helpful and attentive. We could not have asked for better accommodations, a location or property manager. We look forward to returning to Noona's in the future!
We have stayed at this property numerous times and love it more each time. The house is beautiful, well equipped and well maintained. It is walking distance from all that Key West has to offer. Shel Segal the Guest Services Coordinator always does a superb job of making sure everything is order and that you have all the amenities that you need. He is always available should you need something or to answer any questions during your stay. We will be back again next year and can't wait to get there. Key West and Noona's Mansion are the best.
We had a group of ten family and friends converge on Key West for New Year's 2014/5. Noona's Mansion was key to making the trip a success for our group. All of the rooms were spacious, cool, and comfortable. The house and grounds are both very well maintained. The house has off street parking for several cars, which is very hard to find in Key West.
We spent most evenings on the large side patio. The main living and dining rooms off of the kitchen had ample seating, and were very comfortable. The living room television was simple to operate and we had it tuned to college football games several times throughout our stay. Having the small pool in the back was also great. We watched sunset from the widow's walk on several occasions. The house has an amazing sunset view over the Coast Guard property and out to sea -- a feature that is super rare for Key West houses. Most days you can see the large cruise ships sail in/out of port or see them docked.
The kitchen included everything a cook could want to prepare meals at the house. The property manager was able to have the house pre-stocked with all of our favorite foods. The manager went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay in the house, including meeting us at the house for check-in, giving us a walk-through to explain house systems, and checking in with us throughout the stay to make sure everything was perfect.
We really grew to appreciate the location of the house, on a quiet cul-de-sac in a gated community, but still within a couple blocks walking to Duval Street and all of the old town Key West attractions. Our group became (overly) fond of the Green Parrot bar.
From initial contact, to booking, to stocking the house, to organizing excursions, everything was superlative.
We will definitely rent this house again for our next trip to Key West.
