Thank you Loween for everything. The cabin was very cose and our family enjoyed the stay there a lot. We will be back!
Perfect location to ski both Squaw/Alpine as well as North Star. An idealic mountain cabin decorated and outfitted very comfortably. Made for a wonderful ski getaway. Looking forward coming back again and again!
This cabin is a yearly or twice yearly vacation for our family of 4. We love the "old Tahoe" feel of this cozy cabin. The location is very convenient to many ski slopes. We usually go to Alpine and Squaw when we stay at this cabin. During the summer, we love the convenient lake access for the kids. The rooms are very comfortable and the mattresses are very comfortable. I have a sensitive back and am always happy with the comfort of the beds in this cabin. Easy access to hiking trails. And of course, very close access to our favorite watering hole, Garwoods! Loween, the owner, is attentive and easy to contact. I look forward to many more visits to this lovely cabin.
Decorated so delightfully..my family enjoyed our two night stay. So much more spacious inside, than it appears. Kids (5 & 7) had a blast in bunk beds, personalizing each with their possessions. Plenty of room, great decks both off master and at front to enjoy the outdoors, dining and lounging. Good thing it is such a short walk to the water, cause our kids loved being by the shoreline as often as they could be. This cabin is a treasure!
Thanks for providing a great place our after-Christmas vacation! It was clean and very well equipped with everything you might need. It also was surprisingly accommodating for both sleep and play for our mixed group of adults and children. We also liked the hiking opportunities in the forest above the house as well as the good lake access across the highway. The game and movie collection is also good. We would definitely come again. The only issues you might want to be aware of are: (1) the dining area is small so there is not an opportunity for large party formal dining; and (2) the turn into the driveway off of the highway can be a little difficult, especially coming from the south at night. We didn't see these as major problems, but just FYI.
We rented the cabin over teh July 4 long weekend. Loween was very courteous and helpful and available to answer questons about Tahoe since this was our first time there. We really liked the cabin, definitely had a home like vibe. All 6 in our party fit comfortably in the cabin. Well maintained and prime location means we will be repeat customers.
