If you want to experience Key West at its historic best, Casa Feliz is the perfect choice for your stay. A wide porch graces the front of the house and the grounds have been lushly landscaped in the unique Key West tropical style, including a rare Akee tree. This beautiful home has been awarded the Historic Florida Key Foundation’s Ceramic Star for its careful restoration. With its brick paved driveway to the car port and leading up to the front door, this home has the look and feel of a true classic Conch House. All of this just a few blocks from Key West's historic Seaport District.

THE LIVING AREA...

As you enter the spacious front foyer with its powder room, you'll notice that the walls are finished in Dade County pine. The living room is to your right, with comfortable seating for everyone, a large flat screen TV and a queen sized sleep sofa for extra guests. The dining room has seating for 8 persons and an even larger flat screen TV. A wall of French doors opens to the spacious back porch, which is just a couple steps away from the pool. In the kitchen, no expense has been spared to satisfy the demands of the most experienced chef. There is even a wine cooler and a wide pass-through to the back porch.

THE BACK PORCH & POOL...

Outside, there’s plenty of room for casual dining and just relaxing. The porch is big enough for everyone when you've all had enough sun. Floating in the heated pool is the just the right way to relax after a long day shopping in Old Town.

There’s even a convenient outdoor half bathroom and a shower to rinse off after sunbathing or a dip in the pool.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS...

The three beautifully furnished bedrooms are upstairs. The spacious master bedroom suite has a king bed and a flat screen TV. The master bath has twin vanities, a bidet and a Jacuzzi, not to mention an oversized custom glass shower. The second bedroom has two twins that convert to a king bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed. These two bedrooms share a spacious bathroom located in the hall.

Lovely Home in Great Location

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying in this lovely property on several occasions. The house, yard, and pool are all immaculate and well-maintained and the property manager was very responsive whenever we had a question. The back of the house opens onto a covered deck with ceiling fans and looks over a very private temperature-controlled swimming pool. We liked everything about the house including the comfortable king-sized bed in the master bedroom and the up-to-date, marble bathrooms.

The location was perfect for us because we were far enough away from the boisterous celebrations on Duval St. but close enough to walk or bike to all the interesting sites. In fact, after our first stay, we decided that we didn't need a rental car and opted for renting bikes for the entire month of our visit. We loved watching the quiet sunsets at White Street pier and our favorite neighborhood restaurants were Bistro Sole and Azur. We can highly recommend this house to others seeking a peaceful oasis in lovely Key West.

Very nice house. good quality furnishings, nice pool area. Well cared for with periodic pool and landscaping maintenance during my stay. The street was a tad busy with traffic but very quiet in the back by the pool

Wonderful stay at Casa Feliz

We have been visiting Key West each year for the past 15 years and we have stayed in many different homes in both Old Town and the Truman Annex. This was our first time in Casa Feliz, but it certainly will NOT be our last. The house was wonderful and was exactly how it was described and pictured online. This home has all of the modern conveniences that you could want, but it still has the historic, Old Town Key West charm. The house is centrally located between the beaches (both Smathers Beach and Higgs Beach) and downtown, which we really liked. There is even a full service grocery store only a few blocks away, which makes walking or riding bicycles anywhere you want to go a very practical option.

The property manager, Shel, was absolutely fantastic. We have stayed in other homes in Key West where the property manager meets you to get you settled in and then seems to vanish into thin air. This is NOT the case with Shel. He was there to greet us, he had the house ready for our arrival, he was available to answer any questions or concerns during our stay and even came to say goodbye before we left. Shel is on top of his game and will certainly take care of you!

Overall we could not be happier with our stay. Thank you to the property owners for allowing us to enjoy their wonderful home! The house is perfect, it is in a great location and the management is top notch. This combination made for a great experience and another unforgettable trip to Key West.

Casa Feliz is everything you could want in a property: beautifully decorated and maintained, great outdoor space for eating and sunning and really well located.
There is great local Cuban food just down the street and our favorite Key West restaurant is a short stroll away.
Shel Segel, the property manager, is a real gem whom we look forward to seeing every year.
We would recommend this house without hesitation.

Fantastic Extended Family Vacation!

This was the first time our family (3 kids ages 19, 15, 13) stayed somewhere for an entire month and we couldn't be more delighted with our choice! The house is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living space (almost everyday!) with the refreshing pool and the landscape lighting made it perfect for evening entertaining. Our rental manager, Shel, was extremely accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond in many cases to make sure our stay was wonderful! He made great recommendations for restaurants, providing an entire list of must try spots (Blue Heaven's lobster eggs benedict is delicious and The Creperie across the street had fabulous made to order crepes!) as well as suggestions for places to visit (The Butterfly Conservatory is breathtaking!) When we weren't dining out, we had fun cooking in the gourmet kitchen with the top-notch appliances (Fausto's up the street was good for quick pick up items but we usually went to Winn-Dixie for most of our shopping). We rented bikes (ask for Brandon at Sunshine Scooters) and enjoyed riding around the island, especially early in the morning to take in all the architecture that makes this place so unique (Southard Street has a designated bike lane and Truman's Annex is very pristine!). The kids liked riding up to Higg's Beach to play volleyball or over to Mallory Square to take in all the fun during Sunset Celebration. We also rented a car for a weekend getaway to Miami, stopping at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key to swim with the dolphins (they actually include a dorsal fin pull) -- it was amazing! Another great adventure was the half day sunset sailing on Danger Charters which included snorkeling, kayaking, beverages and snacks -- it was quite memorable. Overall, this vacation was perfect for us to spend quality time with our children in a beautiful home away from home!
