‘Casa Plumeria’ is located on 1211 Margaret Street, an area of Old Town that is near the Southernmost Point and the just four blocks from the gallery district of Duval Street. You’ll be just a few blocks from some of Key West’s most famous restaurants: El Siboney, Flaming Buoy, La-Te-Da, Louie’s Backyard, Salute and Seven Fish to name just a few. Higgs Beach and Key West’s Dog Park are just a half mile away. You couldn’t find a better place to stay in Key West.
THE LIVING AREA…
The first thing you’ll notice is the bright tropical colors of the living area, perfect for a Key West home. The living room is large, with plenty of seating and a 50-inch flat screen TV, for those times you’ve had a bit too much sun. The sofa folds out to a queen bed for extra guests. The gourmet kitchen is open to the living room, with four handsome bar stools so the family can kibitz while the chef is preparing dinner. The kitchen is a masterpiece of culinary design, with a double fridge, professional gas range and oven and every small appliance you might need. The kitchen has a pass-through to the dining room, which will seat eight comfortably. A powder room is down the hall.
THE BACK PORCH & POOL…
Two sets of large French doors provide access to the back porch and pool deck. There’s an outdoor dining set with umbrella and chaises for sunbathing on the very sunny deck. The pool is “L” shaped, about 10 x 20 with an added area of 6 x 10 to form the “L”, designed so you can sunbathe on a platform in very shallow water. The pool can be heated to enjoy year-round.
THE GUEST COTTAGE…
The Guest Cottage has two French doors that open to the pool. There’s a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It’s perfect for the couple in your group who want a little extra privacy.
The main house has two bedrooms on the main floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have overhead fans, flat screen TV’s and Bahama Shutters for mornings you need some extra sleep. Between the two bedrooms is a Jack & Jill bathroom with a beautiful shower with river stone floor and frameless glass.
Upstairs is the Owner’s Suite, a spacious bedroom with a king bed, overhead fan, flat screen TV and French doors that open to a private balcony. There’s also a comfortable sitting area. The huge walk-in closet will accommodate any wardrobe. The en-suite master bathroom is a work of art, with a claw foot tub, twin vanities, and a huge custom shower with more of that frameless glass.

It was truly magical, spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in this wonderful home! We enjoyed the large pool area daily for swimming and we were able to enjoy many of our meals outside, which was lovely. We had bikes to get us all around the island to the nearby beaches. This home was so bright and cheerful! Lori was always available for any questions we had and for anything we needed. It was definitely a 5 star vacation for our family and friends.
This was our second stay in this home for October. Plenty of room and equipment to cook in the large kitchen and outside at the BBQ area. Everything was just great as the last time we were here, including Lori's service. The pool area was sunny and spacious. I was impressed by how clean and well cared for everything is inside and outside. Plenty of off street parking. Very easy to walk or bike ride to Duval Street. I am sure will will be back yet again next year.
First month long vacation and it couldn't have been better. Lori Bailey at Last Key Realty took care of EVERY detail imaginable! We had family for part of the stay and this property is truly a joy! We spent many nights cooking together in the spacious kitchen which is perfectly appointed. The pool is sunny most of the day but offers some shady areas as well. If you have never been to Key West put it on your list. If you are a foodie this is the place to be! Casa Plumeria was a wonderful place to stay in Key West. The house had everything we wanted in accommodations and location. The house is extremely clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. The kitchen is exceptional! It has modern appliances and is very well equipped. We cooked many of our meals there, but ate out most of the time at super restaurants close by like La Te Da, Louie's Backyard, Flaming Bouy, and others. The house is almost next door to the best Cuban restaurant in Key West, El Siboney. We loved being able to walk right over and dine there. The pool is just the right size and heated for great comfort. We spent many hours poolside. It has excellent privacy and gets plenty of sun throughout the day while also providing shade in the early evening when you want to enjoy a meal outdoors. The pool furniture is very nice and comfortable. The pool deck is a great place to just hang out. The house easily accommodates 4 couples in comfortable beds. We even had 11 people there one night. The people that get the master bedroom are in for a real treat. The room is quite large and has a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom is huge with a super shower and fun bathtub. The location is perfect for biking to places and it is an easy walk over to Duval Street for fun and dining. The driveway can accommodate 2 cars which is a real luxury in Key West. You will not find better house management anywhere. I have rented homes in many cities and countries and none come close to the quality of Casa Plumeria's management. We had a few things that needed to be fixed/ replaced or attended to. Our concerns were addressed immediately. As an example, our coffee maker quit working. Lori, the manager was over in a couple of hours with a brand new one. She was always very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We loved our one month stay at Casa Plumeria. We will definitely be back!
My family and I gathered from all over to meet in Key West for the holidays. We came from the UK, Ireland and the different parts of the USA. It was such a treat to stay in this immaculate home. Everything was perfect upon our arrival. Lori took the very best care of us all during our stay. We simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this home or about Lori. She was so kind and so attentive to our every request. Thank you for making our family trip the very best time for us and we have taken home some wonderful memories of your special island paradise. A group of us came to Key West for October and this home was perfect. Plenty of room to cook in the large kitchen and outside at the BBQ. The pool area was sunny and a great place to spend the day. I enjoyed staying in the adjacent cottage by the pool. I was impressed by how clean and well cared for everything was inside and outside. The private parking was a big bonus. The house manager Lori gave us some great suggestions on things going on downtown and some great places to eat. We all had such a great time that we are all considering making this a yearly event at this home.
