THE POOL AREA...
The beautiful heated pool is just steps from the back porch. Its soothing waterfall is the perfect background to a relaxing afternoon in one of the comfortable chaises. There are chaises and a dining set with umbrella. When you are ready to wash up, you can walk directly into a full bathroom from the pool area.
Each of the three bedrooms has been thoughtfully furnished, with the most beautiful linens you've ever seen. The upstairs master bedroom has a King-sized bed and a spacious ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and twin vanities. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor, one with a King-sized bed and the other with a Queen-sized bed. There are two additional bathrooms, with three in total. Each bedroom has a Bose radio system. In short, this home has everything you would want in a vacation home.
Central Heat and AC, Ceiling Fans throughout, Heated Pool, Private gated & lushly landscaped yard with BBQ Grill, Washer/Dryer, 42' Flat Screen, Expanded Cable TV, DVD Players, Microwave, Blender, Toaster, Full Gourmet Appointed Kitchen, Linens and Towels provided. We came down to do some lobstering and fishing. This location was great for us, since we were keeping our boat at the marina just down the street. The home itself was exactly as described online. Lori was very prompt with taking care of anything we needed. Our overall experience was really more than just 5 stars and we highly recommend this home and this company.
This home was perfect for us. We loved the location and spent most of our days in the pool area. This is a true oasis! The home is impeccably furnished and maintained. Lori was so wonderful and attentive to our needs. My wife and I plan to return to Key West again very soon.
This house was immaculate when we arrived, and we were met by Shel (who by the way, was wonderful and had the best attitude of any host/property manager we have ever worked with.) We cannot say enough about the 5-star treatment we received from Last Key Realty including Alex and Dina with their prompt correspondence during the rental process. The other agencies on the island do not compare.
The house is on the pricey side, but the house is in a wonderful location off of Caroline Street away from the noise of the crowds on Duval, yet very close to the Seaport and an easy walk to almost everywhere. We would recommend this house for older, luxury-minded travelers, and it's ideal for one or two couples. Off-street parking is a real plus. The kitchen is very well equipped with appliances and kitchen tools, even includes spices and condiments, as well as a nice breakfast bar. The beds were comfortable, and there was an ample supply of quality towels. The stackable washer and dryer were conveniently located and worked well. The outdoor back deck and pool/waterfall provided a relaxing hideaway on sunny days, and the pool is deeper than most pools in Key West. The third bedroom is small, and the shared bathroom for the two bedrooms on the main floor isn't ideal. The master bedroom on the second floor has a nice flat screen TV, a huge bathroom, and provides privacy away from the bedrooms on the main floor.
The living room has a large flat screen TV which was great for watching the winter Olympics, and there is an overly sophisticated sound system. Wi-fi was a bit slow, and needs a new stronger modem/signal strength.
Jerry's Cleaning Service provided wonderful service, and each week the gardeners kept the grounds immaculately pruned and groomed, as did the pool service.
Favorite restaurants included: Santiago’s Bodega, Michaels, A & B Lobster, Nine One Five, La Trattoria Oceanside on S. Roosevelt, Lattitudes, Roostica Wood-Fire Pizzeria, happy hour at the Boathouse, lunch at Salute!, breakfast at Harpoon Harry’s, drinks at La Te Da, ceviche at Turtle Kraals, bar b que at Charlie Mac’s, royal red shrimp at Conch Republic. Great seafood at the market next door, Eaton Street Seafood Market, and for a special birthday treat, order cupcakes from Key West Cakes on White Street.
Enjoyed picnics and sunsets at Fort Zach beach.

This house is amazing, clean, and well maintained; and the pool area is great for just lounging around and hanging out with family and friends. The pool is beautifully decorated with mosaic tiles and the waterfall just add an extra touch. The master bedroom is serene and private which I love. The 2 rooms downstairs are very nice as well but I didn't like the sharing of the bathroom. The location is perfect albeit the neighbors are a bit too close so there is not much verbal privacy in the pool area. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. We rented bikes right around the corner on Eaton and biked around town. There are so many great restaurants to eat such as Antonio's (Italian) , Mangia Mangia (homemade pastas), Michaels (best steak), Raw Bar (best happy hour menu), PePe's, Blue Heaven, Santiago's but my favorites are Louie's Backyard and Southernmost cafe because of their oceanviews. This house is walking distance to all the restaurants so it was very convenient.
Have you ever arrived at a place you rented only having seen it online, and then were shocked with disappointment? That is NOT this place. My wife and I spent one month here and the only complaint we have is that we could not stay longer.
The house is everything and more than advertised. Beautiful home, plenty of room, first class everything, lovely and clean pool (pool guy came every week and did a great job). Easily allows you to eat every/any meal at home with everything available in the kitchen.
Location is fantastic. There is hardly anything that is more than a 10 minute walk from the house. Even though it is in the middle of everything, it is perfectly quiet at night. There is a small B&B next door that we were worried would be noisy but we never heard a thing. Pool is private. Neighborhood is great.
Maybe the best thing of all is the guest services manager Shel, from Last Key, who, in addition to being a wonderful man, was immediately available to solve any issue that arose. For example, the motor for the pool heater burned out. After calling Shel, he had the entire motor replaced before we returned from lunch. Due to our technological illiteracy, we had some trouble with the tv. Minutes later he had a delightful young woman named Alex who was there and taught us what we needed to know.
Was worth every penny and I would return every chance I had.
This could be the best rental in Key West. Idealy located close enough to Duval but very quiet. Close to everything and so far away...
We spent a full month in this home and had such a wonderfull time. it's easy to understand why this house received an award, it's just perfect.
If you add the wonderfull manager Shel to the picture you'll feel so close to paradise you will want to be back ASAP.
