About The Owner
I started coming to St. John in 1965 with a college friend who is from here. I bought this acre in 1976 from her stepfather and walked the land with him and the aid of a machete. Finally in 2009 I built this home here, where I hope to spend as much time as possible away from Michigan winters. I hope to grow an organic, sustainable garden, available to renters, which will provide fruit and vegetable for me and any guests. I love the beauty and tranquility of the mountain, and the calm joy of watching the butterflies from the porch.
