SARASOTA TREEHOUSE GUEST SWEET, 1 BDRM NEAR DOWNTOWN

The Treehouse was very satisfactory for our one week visit to Sarasota. The unit was as described, well appointed and maintained. The owners were helpful with suggestions. Most appealing was the proximity to downtown, the waterfront, South Side village etc. We walked everywhere and Siesta Key Beach was a short drive away. Very interesting neighbourhood with a mixture of residences, architecture etc. Would recommend The Fish Camp, Libby's in the South Side Village, Mozaic (expensive) and Bonjour, a little french place in Siesta Key Village. Different dining experiences, all good.
A studio apartment, regardless of the amenities, is not a place to be if you want to "settle in" but, if you're interested in exploring everything Sarasota has to offer and being able to walk to most attractions, then it's an ideal option.

We had wonderful time. The owners were very gracious and helpful, and the unit was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is beautiful and equipped with needed items. Safe, quite, highly walkable neighborhood, close to everything--restaurants, beaches, shops, etc.

AC and heat worked well which we found out since it was rather cold for Sarasota-- 50 degrees some days, and we also had some warm days.

Overall I would highly recommend this rental, and will stay here again if it works out with our schedule!

The tree house is centrally located near many fine restaurants and shops. The excellent Sarasota farmers market is within a few blocks. My wife and I stayed here for more than a month. The property is a little small for an extended stay and is lacking several items necessary to cook many meals for yourself. The selection of pots and pans and knives is quite limited. It also lacks any real outside sitting or lounging space.

If you plan on a relatively short stay and on dining out for most of your meals I'd recommend it.
