Hotel On Oahu? Never again ... Quiet, clean, convenient, efficient, roomy, comfy, uncrowded...
Great, included parking arrangements (need a car to tour the island), Top of the line everything in the condo, lagoon beach was uncrowded and clean (neighboring lagoons were much more crowded), sunrise and sunset views right from the lanai, incredibly quiet floor, wonderfully kept grounds and pools (however, in the lagoon pool both jacuzzis were inoperable and looked to be that way for a very long time- still one operable in main pool), very safe (we had our two nieces - 16 & 18 and didn't worry about them wondering the grounds), Oahu is not the most beautiful Hawaiian island, (for flowers and greenery especially on the West side compared to Kaui and Maui), but Ko Olina created it!
Reserving and working with the greeter (Phyllis & Misty) was a pleasure and all timely. Thank you for making sure the niece's dream vacation spot came true!
Things to do:
Pearl Harbor Memorial (book ahead on line)
Parasailing with X-Treme (no other company will provide you the full experience)
Kayaking with Windward Sports (they will hook you up -tour the twin islands)
International Market Place shopping
North Shore (pipeline beach swimming was pristine)
Turtle Beach (check them out)
Matsumoto Shave Ice (don't settle for others)
Waimea Falls (if don't have hikers in your group, this will do just fine to cross off a waterfall)
Diamond Head (cause it really is a great view-do it early, you wont regret the benefit of crowd control)
Enjoy Ko Olina (beach it, pool it, stroll it, dine it- couple of good spots next door, sunset it, sunrise it, watch the endless strings of weddings)
