My wife and I (both 60) chose this wonderful apartment for our first 3 week long visit to BA. It could not have been a more perfect choice. A recent review by fellow Canadians who stayed 2 months accurately summarizes everything we, too, experienced. First of all, the apartment is in an exceptional location, convenient to all the tourist attractions, most of which are easily reachable by the Subte (an easy 5 blocks away), or the always plentiful taxis in this quiet leafy neighbourhood, which is a small pocket of tranquillity in an otherwise frenetic city. Alternatively, walking near or far is a pleasant experience in an area of BA that never feels unsafe. There is a great bakery for morning pastries or lunchtime snacks directly across the street, and a huge grocery store three easy blocks away. Secondly, for anyone sceptical of on-line images of rental properties, the photos of the apartment are exactly what you get. In fact, the apartment feels more spacious in person than in the pictures. Large clean frig, good gas stove (though the oven is tricky to light), double sink, and a virtually new combination microwave/convection oven. Plus the benefit of a washing machine, which saves time and offers convenience while enjoying a nice glass of Malbec on the spacious terrace nestled in the treetops overlooking the street. Air conditioners (2) work perfectly, though on cooler days, they don't need to operate as a cross draft is possible by opening windows in the kitchen and the bathroom. The queen size bed is very comfortable, and the place is very clean (thank you Vilma). The kitchen is adequately supplied, though serious cooks may wish for a few more items. But in terms of value for money, we suggest it couldn't get any better. And then there is 'amazing' Juan, the best asset of the apartment: ever cheerful, ever-helpful, always just a quick email away. So engaging, friendly, and helpful. He met us upon arrival and friendship was instant, and checked in on us regularly via email to make sure everything was ok. No problems with anything and there is no question that our memories of our excellent vacation have been made more special because of our chosen accommodation.
My hubby & I escaped our Canadian winter and spent 2 months in this lovely apartment! This apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, lovely and modern. It is a couple of blocks from Parque 03 Febureo/Rose Gardens/Japanese Gardens, within walking distance of Baez St, Museo Evita, Recoleta Cemetery, numerous restaurants, subway and grocery stores. Best of all this apartment has probably one of the best landlords ever. Juan was amazing....he will help you organize just about anything you want to do or see! Juan gives new meaning to the word "accommodating". His mother Silvia is an absolute sweetheart as well. We had lovely conversations with her...she spoke Spanish and we spoke English and we understood each other!! LOL. Thank you Juan and Silvia!
We found this condo to be just the right place for our stay in Buenos Aires. We could easily walk to some nice restaurants and the grocery store was right around the corner. The area was safe and had a real neighborhood feel. We could walk easily to the subway for exploring the city. It was clean and comfortable. There was construction going on next door which made a great deal of noise at times. That might be the only criticism. Juan was helpful and responded to our texts quickly with any questions we might have. We had a last minute change in our flight which he was also able to accommodate without a problem. It's been kind of a dream of mine to visit Buenos Aires and I have to say I was not disappointed. We loved the time we spent there and we felt that this condo was the perfect place for us to stay. If we are able to return, we would definitely stay there again.
The apartment is really great and as depicted. It is fully equipped and the WiFi access is very good. It is located on the 3rd floor. Since there are trees in front of the building, the appartment is not very bright. When we stayed there, it was a bit noisy due to a construction site next door. The subway station is a few blocks away which is convenient to get around in town. Juan is extremely helpful and provided all information we needed, emails were always answered promptly. Just as a suggestion: It would be nice if one or two rechargeable SUBTE cards were provided so that one would not have to purchase the cards just to charge them for using the SUBTE/buses. We would recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Buenos Aires. It's a great place to explore the city.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in January. The apartment had everything we needed, was very nice and spacious and has a wonderful terrance that makes you feel like you are high up in the trees. The manager, Juan, is so incredibly helpful. He gave us great recommendations, answered his phone very late at night when we needed his help with something and was just lovely in every way possible. I highly recommend this apartment and Juan (he has a few other listings).
My husband and I recently stayed here for a week and had a great time. The location was great - the apartment is on a quiet street but close to many things. We enjoyed walking to Baez Street in the Las Canitas neighborhood and Palermo Soho was a quick cab ride away. The apartment is very comfortable and well represented in the pictures. There is a full bedroom and bath, along with nice living area, patio, and a second half bath. It feels very safe and secure. Juan was very easy to work with and gave us some great recommendations for our stay, including where to exchange money. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!
