More than a sweet little cabin. This little getaway spot grabs you and won't let go. From the moment you walk in the door it is evident that the owners of this property deeply care not only for the cabin but for the comfort and satisfaction of their guests.
Craftsmanship is obvious throughout in the construction and detail, the furniture decor and linen selection is comfortable and soothing, everything is clean and crisp. Lemongrass soap in the bath, fresh coffee in the coffee jar, not a detail missed.
Quiet and secluded, just the right distance from town, a short drive or a good walk along the Esopus gets you there, General Stores, Ice Cream and several sit and eat options. We chose to eat in, as the kitchen is well stocked with quality prep and cookware.
I've traveled in North and Central America for years. I've had the fortune of staying in some amazing places as well as having had to cope with some real disappointments.
This cabin, these property owners are easily among the best. I give this a high recommend. I'm already planning my next trip.

We had the most lovely experience renting this little cabin. Despite the inclement weather during our trip, my family and I had a blast! It was a truly relaxing vacation in a very tranquil location. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had all the creature comforts and household necessities one might need while vacationing with an infant/young child. The hosts were extremely friendly and responded quickly to all questions before/during/after the trip. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Catskills. We look forward to returning in the near future.

An amazing Catskills retreat!

After browsing the site for a nice cabin in the Catskills, we found this one to be perfect. The price was right, and the location was prime.

The town of Phoenicia is a pretty small, cute little town with the vital shops nearby. There are some eateries, a general store/grocery store, a gas station, and a really nice gift shop. The cabin is about 5 minutes away from the town by car.

We spent one of our days hiking around the Woodland Valley campground/nature trail, which was about 10 minutes up the road from the cabin and was the primary reason we picked this place.

The cabin itself was cleaned and well stocked with wood, some basic spices, clean towels, and plenty of kitchen gear.

The pictures in this listing don't truly do it justice. The place was well above our expectations.

Wonderful secluded cabin!

I took my wife to the cabin for her birthday. Everything was perfect! Wood was already arranged in the fireplace, all I had to do was light it. The cabin was clean and well organized, scented soaps and bath salts included. My wife raved about the tub. It is the perfect size for soaking. We highly recommend Brio's in Phonecia about 2 minutes away by car. Awesome wood oven pizza, their menu items were good too. We took a day trip to Woodstock to check out the shops and see the town. All in all a great weekend. There is something for everyone. The owners were attentive but not invasive. we had a great time!
