Immaculate, newly renovated one-bedroom apartment in the heart of the Museum Mile/Carnegie Hill district of the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Central Park and the Guggenheim Museum are both less than a block away. The apartment is bright and airy with charming street views. Situated between the luxury of 5th Ave. and the glamour and shopping of Madison Ave.

Very close to all public transportation, with free parking available on the street. The entrance to the beautiful Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir is two blocks away.

The building is small and charming, with only 5 stories of three or four apartments each. Very private, with quiet neighbors. Elevator building.

The designer kitchen features professional appliances. The bathroom includes a spa shower with jet sprays.

A 42 inch flat-screen TV with premium cable is on the bedroom wall. A second, smaller TV is in the kitchen/living area.

Lots of storage in built-in California closets.

Relax in a queen-size adjustable Tempur-Pedic bed. The pull-out sofa in the living room features a queen-size memory foam mattress.

Not appropriate for very young children.

About Linda

George Rodman is a professor at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and the author of several well-known college textbooks. George and his wife Linda love exploring Central Park, local museums and restaurants. Linda loves the exclusive shopping in the area.

Living on Museum Mile has always been a dream of ours. When our son was accepted at a nearby prep school, we knew our time had come. Now, the three of us live here on school nights and return to our home on Long Island on weekends, holidays, and during the summer.

What makes this apartment unique

Central Park is one of the most beautiful hiking/running/biking locations in the world. Our favorite world-class museums include the Met, the Guggenheim, and the Frick. The apartment is a perfect home base for exploring the most vibrant city in the world!

Great New York Apartment

This well furnished apartment is in a great location. George and Linda have thought of everything, down to the great cookies they left for us and the bottled water in the frig. We were in New York for the US Open which was easy to get to considering the subway is only a few blocks away. There are many great restaurants in the neighborhood as well as museums and of course Central Park. Don't pass this apartment up!

This perfectly located apartment, beautifully maintained and extremely well stocked is the ultimate place for a family of 3 to revel in what New York has to offer. With the park and museums a block away, Dean and Deluca down the street when a picnic in the park is the order of the day, the subway a stone throw away, ones every need is at ones fingertips. George and Linda are incredible hosts, understanding, accommodating and proud of the home they thankfully share. I would look no further. Great value, comfort, location and superior hosts.

This is a fabulous apartment - great location, impeccably clean, well appointed and well stocked - it exceeded our expectations. Easy access to the bus lines, museums and Central Park, including the JKO reservior if you like to walk/jog. Linda and George were very helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment.

We came here from California and had a Ball!!!!

We came in off the Red Eye from California, to meet with George and Linda. They are very friendly and helpful. I loved how they stocked the house with those little things you miss about home. The shower was amazing, the decorations were inviting. This apartment was impeccably clean.
I loved the kitchen, I loved the location and how really easy the subway is to use once you ride it a couple of times.
They left us a museum pass, a laundry card, and OMG!!! The most wonderful candies I have ever eaten. I cant thank you enough for this fantastic vacation, and you bet we will refer people to you in the future!!!!

Perfect jewel box like 1 bedroom NYC apartment

I just spent 2 weeks in this perfectly renovated, wonderfully located, perfectly stocked, simply and beautifully decorated apartment. I was actually recovering from surgery and there could not have been a lovelier place to do so. Also, Linda and George are most wonderful hosts! Don,t miss a chance to stay at this lovely, well located, one bedroom upper east side apartment.
