AMAZING SPACE, AMAZING STRIP VIEWS!!!

We went to LV to celebrate my daughter's wedding. Not being a 'city' person I really didn't want to get a hotel on the strip, and because my student son was coming with us we wanted something that wouldn't cost the earth. So an apartment was our choice - cheaper for 3 of us to stay here than in 2 hotel rooms. We had to take the apartment on trust, having no way of viewing it beforehand, and we had to place a huge amount of trust in the owner (after all, the whole thing could have been a con) but I am happy to say it all went without a hitch, despite my worries. :-)

The apartment was gorgeous, exactly as described. Located to the south west of the city and about 1/4 mile from the interstate so everywhere is easily accessible. I think it took 10 mins to get to the airport or strip.

Having a balcony was great for us but we didn't really visit the pool.

The owner had left a folder full of facts and leaflets of attractions and helpful tips.

the only thing I would like to see changed/added is information about the location of local shops.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Vegas :)

My husband and I and another couple stayed at this condo for a week in April. There isn't a bad thing to say about it. It has everything you would need and more. You can tell the owner takes great pride in his property. There are lots of amenities (i.e., grocery stores, etc) right in the neighbourhood to stock up for your vacation. You can enjoy the deck and look across to the strip which is beautiful at night. The pool area is very "resort" style with lots of lounge chairs to soak up the sunshine. Having the free long distance to Canada was a bonus as it gave us an opportunity to stay in touch with our families. If you're looking for a place close to, but not right on the strip, I highly recommend this Condo. It's about a 10-15 minute car ride to the strip. We did take a cab one evening and it was about $28. Would definately stay there again next time.

Our stay at Steves condo was PERFECT! From the location,( which was close enough to everything. ie The airport, the Strip, outlying casino's, stores, etc.) to the Condo itself. I have to say, the photo's of the interior didn't do it justice. It was by far the nicest (UP TO DATE), cleanest and WELL EQUIIPPED, vacation stay I have ever stayed at, and AFFORDABLE!. I have to admit, I'm hesitant at writing this review, only because I WANT it available the next time my travels bring me to Vegas. Steve was IMMEDIATELY available for the ONE issue we (thought) we encountered, turns out WE turned a switch. He was able to EASILY tell us how to remedy it. The one resturant we would recommend would be the Griddle, we ate breakfast there every morning. It is within walking distance if you would like, just walk out the gate at the out driveway, and it's located in the little strip mall, by popeys chicken. Jack in the box was also very convenient being open 24 hrs, located behind the parking area. We also visited Red Rock Canyon for hiking and rock climbling, NO equippement was necessay for simple climbing, except for sturdy shoes. NO heels recommended, @ $7 a car load, bring a picnic lunch, it doesn't get much better than that to enjoy a peacful day. I will be looking to Steve's condo first the next time we're there, and hope it will be available. Enjoy your stay, we did!!
