Villa, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Our villa is fully furnished, with one king sized bed in the master bedroom, and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The living room sofa opens to a queen sized bed. The lanai is screed, with a ceiling fan and outdoor table and chairs. There is a computer desk, and complimentary wifi is available in the unit. There are two televisions, one in the master bedroom and one in the living area, and a DVD player and CD player for your use as well.

The unit has two linen closets with sheets, towels, and beach towels. There are two separate vanities in the master bedroom.

All cooking appliances and dishes and pans are provided. An outdoor gas grill for your use is included.

There is so much to do in the Venice area. There are frequent art shows, great shopping, wonderful restaurants, and the beaches are great!! Come and get out of winter for a month or two. There are so many golf courses in the area, most of them are public or semi-private.

The pool is right across the street for your sunbathing pleasure.

Sunsets here are magnificent.

$500.00 golf membership available from May to October includes all club facilities and events.

Villa overlooks the 7th fairway (does not include golf privileges) on the Bobcat Golf Course at the Plantation. The rental includes the use of a beautiful pool across the street from the villa.

The Plantation complex area is beautifully landscaped with well maintained homes, villas and condominiums.

The Master Bedroom has a walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom with shower, two vanity units and two washbasins. The second bedroom has twin beds, a large wardrobe closet and a smaller closet, en-suite bathroom with shower/tub, vanity and washbasin.

Included in the Villa is a screened in lanai with fan and sliding glass doors. The unit comes with a queen sized sofa bed .

The unit also includes a courtyard for those who like to sit outside for breakfast, cocktails or outdoor enjoyment, etc. There is plenty of storage for bicycles, golf clubs, fishing poles, etc.

About Lin Gruber

We live on the beach on Manasota Key. We are constantly updating our unit. We would love to be your host. We are from Cleveland and Iowa, but spent most of our married lives in Pittsburgh, PA. We absolutely LOVE it here and Plantation is our second home.

Why Lin Gruber chose Plantation

We are members of Plantation Golf and Country Club. We love the two 18-hole golf courses, and the tennis facilities. The course is used every year by the LPGA qualifiying event in the fall.

What makes this villa unique

We are only a couple hours drive to Orlando, and about an hour and a half to Tampa. We are midway between Tampa and Ft. Meyers airports. Sarasota airport is half an hour's drive. The villa is on a quiet street with the pool directly across the street.

The villa is located 20 mins from Sarasota Intl Airport and one hour from Tampa or Fort Myers' Intl Airports. You are also minutes from the most gorgeous beaches in the US. 10 mins from Manasota,Venice and Caspersen beaches and 20 minutes south of Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota which was voted the best beach in the country by the History Channel several years in a row. Surrounding you are 20-30 beautiful golf courses. All are well kept and affordable.

The Plantation is a protected bird sanctuary and is home to just about every exotic bird on the west coast of Florida. Ospreys and Sandhill Cranes are nesting in the course trees, also you will see bald eagles flying around the lakes looking for fish, Ibis, Egrets, and alligators too!

You are in very close to all the shopping and restaurants you could imagine.

This has been our best rental unit in Florida. The Lin and Gerry were wonderful owners to work with. Everything in their listing was as good or better than pictured. Being right across from the pool was great, whether to see aerobics or if the flamingo was out for socializing with our neighbors. We were able to check out the golfers and watch the sandhill cranes early in the morning from the lanai. It was a great experience. Thank you for a great month.

This villa was wonderful! The location was great, right across from the heated pool in the front and we could watch the golfers tee off on the 7th hole on the screened back porch. Gerry and Lin, the owners, are in town and available to answer any questions you might have but allow you your privacy. The "gray" villas, as they are called, were like having a little neighborhood with Tuesday night pool party and water aerobics on Mon., Wed., and Fri. mornings. You can join-in as much you want or have your privacy or both. Venice is 5 miles away with resturants and shops and the Manasota Beach is only a 10 min. drive.
We have been coming to the Venice area for many years and this is the first time we've been in Plantation and we highly recomend the area and this villa.

I stayed for two months while waiting to move to my new home, and everything I needed was there. I was very comfortable with the accommodations, and the owners couldn't have been nicer. If I needed anything, they were right there for me.

We had an excellent time and the owners were beyond nice. The villa is perfectly located. The golf course in the backyard and the pool literally 20 yards from the front door. You really couldn't ask for anything more. The Venice area was beautiful with plenty of local restaurants with reasonable prices. It is close to other cities such as Ft Meyers or Siesta Key for a day trip away. This is our 8th year of renting condo's all across Florida for the month of February and this was beyond our expectation. It was already booked for next year or we would be back there February 2013 !
